Did you even read my first post?Sexy Street said:Morrowind has an expansion with werewolves.
yeah whats the point of a werewolf if when it turns its not a bad ass looking humanoid werewolf. im sure if some writers sat down and thought about it we could come up with an entire world to revolve around werewolfs.Wintermute_ said:Maybe a werewolf hunting game Van Hellsing style? Just being a werewolf would be tough
Getting the combat right would be tough (twilight princess wolf combat was cool, if they had only adding more then, like, 2 combos or special attacks).
Biggest issue:story. Really, what are your trying to accomplish as a werewolf, and are you staying true to the legend? and not bullshit things like our latest "werewolf" encounter... Twilight...
I clicked that link and my computer decided to not show the picture for a few seconds. I didnt find it all that scary but I did scoot my chair back a few inches against my will.Nixzilla said:Why havent there been that many and now that I think about it the only one I can remeber was dlc for morrowind. I agree entirely.SelectivelyEvil13 said:Bloodmoon was incredible, and it is a real shame that there aren't more werewolves in video games. They would have been perfect in Oblivion (thank you mods though), so I think that games of that nature could easily incorporate them as NPCs hiding amongst the populace or even allowing you as the player to contract lycanthropy.
As for a werewolf focused game, I think it could most certainly be done. Much of it boils down to narrowing down the "type" of werewolf (what myths are true in the game along with any newly imagined werewolf traits), the setting (Fantasy/Middle Ages, Present Day, near-Future), and the general conflict. Conflicts could involve you in a clan of other werewolves fighting another clan or different faction entirely, a lone wolf out for survival while hiding during the day, or all sorts of varied and combined elements.
Considering the complaints of games not being innovative enough, I think that it's high time we see a great werewolf game sink its fangs into the neck of the status quo.
