Western Themed Graphic Narrative

I will be creating a graphic narrative for a western themed comic based on Billy the Kid sometime next year. Before i do this however i need to know whether or not you, as comic fans would want to read a comic like this? And if you would, what would you like to see included in the story? Keep in mind that while i will have some freedom with the narrative the story will be relatively relevant to that era (so no aliens/monsters etc).
