Disappoint. I enjoyed Wet. The combat got repetitive, but that could've been fixed with bullets doing more damage, or enemies having less health. This became especially obvious on harder difficulties since "harder" just meant "enemy health bars out the ass oh I'm sorry did you plan on killing him within the next ten minutes?". That was poorly handled. The gameplay as a whole was interesting and fun. ESPECIALLY the various over-the-top scenes of free-falling and car surfing. Holy shit. Most awesome thing to play through ever.
Plus, I really liked Ruby. She felt like a real female character, for once. She was a total badass, fully clothed (minus one unnecessary scene), and yet still had a softer side to her. She could have taken the money and not given anything a second thought, but she didn't. If she was truly just a hardened merc out for dough, she wouldn't have gone the extra mile to find out what the hell was going on. I liked that, and it's sad she won't get a second chance to really shine.
And Eliza Dushku ftw, of course.
