Are there any recent games that you wish had character customization? Personally i wish left 4 dead had a character creator. how about you?

Can't really think of any. I'm not big on character customization in general, because I think it's better for a game to make an interesting character, with more depth than what you can get when you let the player choose a lot of the characteristics.

But in cases like L4D I think character customization is pretty awesome

I didnt even think of L4D, yeah, that would be nice.

Although it would need several voices to choose from then.

L4D would be good, but it's fine as is.

CoD4 would have been nice to see small bits of customisation. Like what Rainbow Six: Vegas did.

I'm of the opinion RPGs should have character creation standard, but outside of that I would have liked it if I could have better customized the features of the protagonist in Fable 2. Man, I haven't really played a lot of 2008 games.

Now that you mention it, Left 4 Dead would work really well with a character creator; they're basically blank faces anyway. I can't think of any others that didn't, but should have.

I'm still not sure if Borderlands will let you customize characters. I mean, I know there's three classes and there's different armor and stuff you can wear, but do I have to be a chick if I pick a specific class?

Prototype. You have the option to consume people and use their appearance during the game, but I haven't seen footage of one of these characters actually using any powers, I'm curious of whether that actually works.

Also, I'd love it if CoD6 had a customisation thing, other than the differences in classes. I mean, if weapon camo is in there, why not real camo, for example?

Mirror's Edge. The breasts are not large enough and her face is too Westernized.
But if you made them too big, you wouldnt be able to look down and see your feet! You wouldn't know where you were going!

He's talking about games that already came out. And Prototype isn't going to have customization because the character has an established storyline and look that he's supposed to have.

As for a game that should have had it, I think Too Human, Left 4 Dead, and CoD4 would have been great with customization.

Left 4 Dead would be a great game for a character creator but it be nice for live games like Call of duty 4 & WaW to make your own russian or japanese guy that be awsome
