I mean, what the hell evolution!
WHY WOULD YOU GIVE A SHARK JAWS THAT CAN EXTEND OUT OF ITS FACE ALIEN STYLE
Thats actually my favorite animal, next to the Walrus. As for me, Carpet Crawlers.

It's the weirdest damn thing, but I can't stand moths. Spiders I'm fine with, bees, wasps and hornets I avoid but I don't freak out when they're around. But moths are completely harmless, but I react to them more than I would a wasp. I think it's their weight, when they hit your head there's just that dull smack. They also, completely irrationally, seem evil to me. I think it goes back to childhood and camping with my dad, there was one time when we were in a cabin and it was full of moths and they kept landing on my face. Then the story I heard about white moths being harbingers of death. Again completely irrational, but the things creep me out. And yet I'm fine with butterflies.

The Komodo Dragon, it's a real life FUCKING DINOSAUR

That is clearly a fake, but look how big those monsters can get!

Damn nature you scary!

See all that drool? That stuff is incredibly toxic, if it gets into your body, you are dead, it isn't even venom, it's just filled with massive amounts of deadly bacteria
So scary, but I love them so much!

A mere still picture does not do the frilled shark justice.

If you just look at the picture, they don't look so bad. It's the way that they move that unnerves me.

Technically, all sharks can do that to an extent. Don't believe me? Find a picture of a great white just chilling. Now find another of a great white attacking and compare. His nose sorta bends upwards and you can see a large part of his gums, as if his dentures are falling out of his mouth. It's so they don't hurt their sensitive little snouts. (Wussies ^ ^) Since mr. goblin over here has a pretty huge snout it makes sense he can extend his teeth pretty far.

OT: pretty much anything that lives in the deep sea where there is no light is either as beautiful as christmas decorations or as scary as Freddy Kreuger. Sometimes both. I wouldn't go down there without an armored suit even if it wasn't necessary to protect me from the pressure.

I'm just happy the title says "scary" and not "sexy". I don't know why I thought it might be a furry thread but... there you have it.

OT: certain monkeys. The ones with red and blue faces.

I have yet to see one, there are animals that make me scared like the larvae and other stuff that can eat you from inside but those don't _look_ scary.

SPIDERS THE SMALL EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS.
I think really it's multiple reasons I hate them. Their eyes are horrifying. They're hairy in a way that disturbs me. The whole thing with their fangs scares me. Also the way they move about is just plain creepy. The webs don't help either.
It's making Skyrim difficult at the moment. Bloody Frostbite Spiders.
I'm developing an irrational fear of cobwebs from Skyrim.

Actually I'm not sure what it is that actually scares me about them. Even when none of the above things are there I'm terrified.
When I see them my brain is just hard wired to tell me to stay the hell away from it.
Might be I can't think of a way to deal with them. You know, Scorpions you grab them by the tail, Snakes you grab them by the back of the head, Honey Badgers you stay the hell away.
What do you do for Spiders apart from trap them under a glass.

If not spiders then aggressive or huge fish but with that it's more that thy can sneak attack you in the water from below.

Big spiders: push straight down on their back so she's pinned to the ground. I was also told they can't survive a drop from higher than about 1 meter.
Disclaimer: I never tried any of this myself, just heard stories. It probably isn't completely risk-free. But than again, neither is grabbing a scorpion's tail or a snake's head.
Small spiders: just squish I guess? The drop thing definantly doesn't work though.

none neccessarily scare me, except spiders come the closest to it, but thats more of a proximity thing.

EDIT: apparantly, as i was typing this there was a spider derping about on the ceiling right above my head.
