What Aniti-Virus do you use?

Norton's good for a few months, but after it expires, it's really annoying that it has to constantly remind you to buy the full version. I'm using a combination of Avast!, Malwarebytes, and Super Anti Spyware. Not one virus has even dared trying to mess up my laptop. Plus all of them are free.

Avast. Effective and free, though you can get the special version if you're determined to spend money. I use it in collusion with malwarebites and don't have any problems.

Some computers use Avast!, others use AVG free. Can't really tell the difference.

Microsoft Security Essentials. It's suprisingly good, normally I wouldn't trust anything that oozed out of Redmond, but this does it's job well and doesn't put much of a load on system resources. I occasionally run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware just to check for spyware/adware/etc. Never find any, though.
I wouldn't go near McAfee if they paid me, same goes for Norton. Useless steaming piles of software that they are.

Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free, if you use Windows 7. It's fairly minimalistic, just the stuff you'd expect an antivirus to do.

I'd certainly recommend it over all the paid AVs like Norton etc.

F-Secure. Got a 4 year contract with my laptop and have only had one issue in the last 2 1/2 years, which was simply sorted because I had backed-up all of my files so restoring it all was pretty straightforward.

I have no idea how it compares to others because nobody else I know uses F-Secure.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good Microsoft Security Essentials is.
Came from McAfee and this is just a little ray of sunshine compared to that steaming pile of crap.

I use F-Secure! heh.

It can be a bit more heavy on the resource hogging than some other antivirus-programs, but what I have seen working with it, it's quite effective. Haven't had a problem in years.
