What are hugs?

Hi guys and gals and people who have been stalking me
I'm in a little moral quandary at the moment.
You see I met a very nice girl last night, and had the same sence of humour as me crazy though it is.
at the end of the day she gave me a hug and left. (i got her number btw)
so this is my dilemma.
What does "the hug" actually mean?
does it mean we are friends and thats it full stop?
or would i have the option to get into a relationship?

If she hugged you on the first day she met you, that means she likes you and you have a clear shot at being friends and maybe more if you play it right. Basically, a hug is a general sign of affection and it's usually better when girls hug you than if they don't. If you're interested in her, go for it.

The way I see it, she wouldn't have hugged you if she wanted to be sure you didn't think she dug you.

I hug all my female friends when I meet them and leave them, it's just a reflex and that's maybe the case for her, she saw you as a friend.

I think we'd call that an attempt as base 1. Next time you see her, hug her and see if she leans into it.

A hug is just a hug. It's a sign that she obviously likes you and is comfortable around you, but it doesn't necessarily mean she wants to be in a relationship with you. Just give it time.
