What are these card things for?

hey escapists.

Help me out here I was looking for some skyrim mods and I found these card like things droped into my Steam Inventory.

What are these for?

I think they're just a trading card sort of thing. I know there's badges you can get, and i think i read somewhere there'd be coupon rewards or something, but ultimately it's just Steam giving people who like collecting shit yet another incentive to buy stuff.

You can craft a full set to make a badge, increasing your steam level.

Or, if you're sensible, you can sell them in the marketplace for money, put straight in your steam wallet.
