Recettear is out! I've already started, but wow, it can be unforgiving! I'm going to play through it in hopeful preparation for my first Let's Play, because losing progress can put you really far back, so it's not suitable to play through it blind. It's a lot of fun so far though, just adding more and more layers of complexity, and a ton of humour that I'm enjoying a lot. :D
Woo! Someone else has it, too! I was playing it non-stop most of today, the week where you have to get 80,000 Pix is so ridiculously hard. I'm having tons of fun though since it just keeps adding more and more stuff to do every time you get even slightly bored. And I love going through the dungeons, even if those are also a bit unforgiving. Not to mention that the humor and characters are great. And also, saving helps for the losing progress thing.

Probably going to do a valve binge, play through Half-Life 2 again, then finally play the episodes. Portal and L4D2/TF2 if time allows.

Civilization Revolution, as I didn't get R.U.S.E when I found out I could get Civilization 5 for less in a couple of weeks.

Can never beat it on the normal difficulty though, I need tips!
Best tip I have is that focusing on science, rushing to Combustion, and tanking the shit out of everyone before they can catch up is a very effective strategy. Also, build a Galleon and find the Lost City of Atlantis before someone else does---it's effectively a 7% boost in tech over the course of the game.

I lost that week :( It gave me a new adventurer, and I can't master (read: successfully pull off even by accident) her block - I went into a dungeon with her fully geared up and she got ripped to shreds - 10k and a day down the drain. Ended the week with 50k pix :( Done a lot better next time though, got her properly levelled up, even if she still doesn't technically own any of her own gear, the cheapskate. Her mirror image move is so useful against those red cacto-tentacle... things that do like 30 damage a hit.

I swear, the games one failing so far is that I've played RPGs and real item shop owners aren't nearly as nice as I am. They'd sooner lose their house to a loan-shark than offer a discount.

Have you got to the end of the Jade road yet? That's the key, pretty much. Louie is a good adventurer though, plenty of armour, good reach on the sword, and a mean spin attack for when those trap chests trigger. I just didn't want to use him because he's vanilla sword guy.

I'm gonna break out DJ Hero to work on some of the hardest songs in the game, like Beats and Pieces, trying to five-star them on expert. I WILL get every achievement in this game someday, even if it kills me.

Also, Assassin's Creed. I'm borrowing it from a friend and am LOVING it.

Oblivion and TF2. Those are my two games at the moment now that Project Powder won't launch.

Also, I just got the Elsweyr: Deserts of Anequina mod for Oblivion. Whee-hee!

I recently got 3 games for 30 bucks for the 360, Wet, Mirrors Edge, and Dark Void. I don't like Wet at all, protagonist is the weakest I've ever scene, Mirrors Edge, got stuck and can't figure out how to get to the place I need to go. I'm actually enjoying Dark Void, it is really different and interesting.

I'm like halfway through Persona 3 and I'm going to play more of that or see if I can get my computer to run Dragon Age Origins. It's a rather old computer, I just installed a new DVD drive cuz the other one died of old age.

I know I'm way late on this one, but I got Bayonetta fairly recently because the price on Amazon was low. I'm about twelve hours in, and I'm loving it so far. It's just so ridiculous that it's awesome. Apparently I suck at it though because I keep on getting goddamn stone awards.

I'm gonna go on a Rome: Total War binge after I sleep.

For some reason, I like Rome more than any other Total War game. It's incredibly addicting.
