A 15-ish page, 2500 word assignment on a comparison of physical and digital evidence and relative investigation methods, due in tomorrow evening. I've done a title, contents, introduction and half of the first of five sections; and have planned what I'm going to write for the rest and got my sources set up ready, but I just can't comprehend what I'm typing in the first 5-10 minutes of starting. I put it all down to overwhelming thoughts and tiredness.

Funny as when I'm in the flow I tank through my work, but I find getting into the flow as one of life's greatest challenges.

Not so funny is I'm paying a fortune for this class.

Funny thing is I find the subject incredibly interesting.

Yet it's not so funny that while I find working in a working environment easy, if it needs to take place on my personal computer (like now) the internet becomes a massively distracting thing and my monitor suddenly becomes an eyesore at the same time.

Last night of mid-semester holidays. Told myself I'd work on assignments over the holidays... Guess how well that worked out.

I've got a Psychology test today in a few hours that I meant to study for last night but instead I played the Diablo 3 Beta. I also have a Biology test tomorrow but, screw that! I'm not studying for a test I'm going to fail anyways.

I'm not technically procrastinating anything right now really... I'm just on a break from my two event handover reports, 30%, 25% and 15% tests and assignments, and another event tomorrow. Everything is on time! Right?

Actually the worst part of the experience of spending 17 years in the education system is that you learn exactly how long everything is going to take to do, so you can leave it to the last minute and reach 80% of potential. Forget that last 20%, too much effort.

I took a week off work to study and edit a manuscript. i have 2 days left and haven't started either. I have transferred and organised 4 years worth of files off my old laptop onto my PC though and I've read a book, and watched 7 movies and made a mask for a costume party and I will probably spend tomorrow painting...

If "life" is considered too low of content by the moderators then how do they feel about "everything?"

Several hours of accounting homework to finish a class. That's on top of the full shift's worth of paperwork I have to do for my job. And there aren't many hours left before I absolutely have to start.

It wouldn't be so bad if I actually felt smarter for taking the class. Accounting, though....you can explain it to me over and over and it doesn't make sense. Even when I know exactly what to do, it just doesn't make sense.

Hate to break it to you but they are important for getting you into a college/ sixth form and not a lot else for most people (unless you are applying to oxbridge/ certain medical schools)...wait that won't help with the motivation, why aren't you working dammit?
