See, all your chainsaws/shotguns will eventually run out of fuel/ammo. And with a fine enough sharpening stone you can maintain your sword's edge

Sword is quick, clean, quiet, and ammo-less. Mountain bike is silent, doesn't require fuel, and is cross-country, too. Radio for contacting other survivors, and the last two are for obvious reasons. (Mountain bike comes with a pump, silly).

5. easily defensable concrete bunker with reinforced steel doors and only 2 approaches that bottleneck oncoming hostiles. second floor gun/arrow slits overlooking the bottlenecks equipped with bolt action sniper rifles. Air/water purification systems and several months worth of rations (MRE, canned goods, etc.)

ideally the claymore mines would be set up as traps along the bottleneck approaches to thin the oncoming horde and/or rigged with remote detonnators for the unlikely possibility that you would need to abandon such a well fortified position. Blow the mines and rush out into the open space to make your break.

Nothing...I'm a scrounger and pat-rack now and I will be even more so during a zombie apocalypse. It's the zombie freakin apocalypse; time to loot! I'd learn to be freakin MacGuyver baby..gimmie a toothpick, a string, and some chewing gum and I'll make a bomb to blow up all those undead, lol.
