I listen to a shitload of music, and I play drums, occassionally jamming with other people and trying to form bands. I also take great interest in films and good TV drama. Never been one for sports. I read as well, although probably not as much as I should for an English student, and do a tiny a bit of review writing when I can be bothered (not often).

Music: I play Violin, Viola and Tuba (what a mix!) each once a week during term time. I actually played in a concert and got paid for it a couple of weeks ago!

Archery: target recurve (I'm in the UK so I couldn't hunt even if I wanted to). I can also coach at a basic level.

I train martial arts, write small novels, play D&D and play tin whistle and harmonica... I recently started playing MtG again, after about 6 years break.

This is not a good question to ask me, or a lot of people on this website.

Apart from gaming (which I don't do much of nowadays) I read books, watch films, TV and anime. That's pretty much it in terms of hobbies, I do still go out and do things but nothing remotely like a hobby.

Photography is my main hobby even though I've not had much time for it recently & I need a model or two, I really want to try my hand at portraits & whatnot. I have scenic photography down, I just need to go to some new places...
And if keeping an old worn out car running is a hobby then I must be a master of it or something.
I'm finaly getting off my ass & doing some weightlifting too...

I used to have hobbies until I became stupidly ill and now I spend most of my time stuck indoors playing video games, watching movies/TV shows and reading Russian Sci-fi novels. I miss exercise.

Well, I have some guitars, but I'm not committed enough for it really. Only know a few basic video-game tunes.
(Its partially because I need better equipment, and partially myself and my bad habits. I try to play right handed guitars even though I am left handed, I can't sit a guitar properly on my leg. I strum weirdly. I'm just not very good at it at all! XD)

I guess my main hobby is still related to gaming, which is well, customising electronics.
I bought an arcade machine quite a while ago, and I upgraded the hardware and software for it, (though it still needs a lot of work. Better buttons, joysticks, and redesigned cabinet stuff. I need some serious dosh and some manpower for it though).

I custom firmware most of the consoles I get. Mostly for the sake of it, just learning how and why it works, (though I can't get my head around the coding of it! XD), and running a few bits and pieces of homebrew.

^ Well. Thats how I started!

Now I own a Caanoo, (a nice little open-handheld. Turned it into a nice little emulation machine and music player, though since I got a slim PSP, I've stopped using it as a media player, since the Caanoo only has a maximum of 32gb of memory (Takes a SD card), and the PSP can go up to 64gb (photofast adapter + 2x 32gb Micro SDs), and I managed to get my hands on a Raspberry Pi, but I haven't tinkered with it much, as I'm waiting for the linux firmwares to be a little more stable, and the graphics chip better supported.

I plan to learn some coding and to eventually understand how to work linux, (I'm currently pretty baffled! XD).

I eventually plan to turn it into a portable emulation console (put loads of games in, hook it up to a TV via HDMI, connect a couple of controllers in the USBs. Minimum space, power consumption, but hours and hours of fun! :D), but I may change my mind on its function eventually.

I want to learn to code properly, eventually, enough to make some games. My true ambition is to eventually become a Game Designer.
(I spend a lot of time coming up with ideas, though Uni has been getting in my way from truly developing these ideas. But I DO have a idea I'm beginning work on, one I could realistically do with my existing knowledge of Game Maker. Enough to create a crude prototype. But I need enough stuff down on paper first, before I begin work on that prototype)

Apart from that. I watch a little TV, browse the gaming websites on the net, talk on forums, and ocassionally watch an anime DVD I managed to find for cheap, (Netflix has some nice stuff now the UK has it).

I can read quite well, but I'm not horribly interested in books.
I am the only one at work to actually use the reading corner. Reading a mediocre book at the moment, but its entertaining enough and passes the time on my breaks.
(I used to go to a Grammer school, and I used to be really good at English literature. I only read the set books though, but I did like that stuff mostly. Lord of the Flies, Frankenstein, a little Shakespeare and Tony Harrison.)

As for music. Yeah, I listen to some of it.
Kind of have odd tastes for a 21 year old though. I like video game music. I have loads of OSTs, and I'm always whistling some tune while I'm going along.
Orchestral music I find quite pleasant, but my real favourite is Hard Rock/Metal.
Yup. I love the old style stuff.
No cookie monster vocals for me! XD
Rush, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Hammerfall, Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult, Meat Loaf.

I also love comedy music. Tenacious D, Brentalfloss, Jon Lajoie, Flight of the Conchords. I like music to be fun and interesting.

None of that Drum and Bass, wubwub, R & B rubbish. Blech! :X

EDIT: Man! After reading some of other people's posts, I sound pretty boring... ;/

Training work dogs (though that's a bit serious to be called a hobby) shooting, writing, working out and occasionally role playing. I used to be a trampolinist, but I stopped about a year and a half ago.

Playing classical piano, art history and visiting museums (when I get so lucky), drawing/painting/3d modeling (outside of my job), studying languages. I'm trying to get more into cooking, but that's kinda new for me.

I love anime and manga, roleplaying games (of the pen and paper sort) wargames (of the tabletop sort), I collected and painted miniatures till GW sent the prices so high I couldn't justify anything, I collect transformers (just the characters/individual toys I like), and I read a lot of sf and fantasy.

I gethe distinct feeling everyones looking at me and thinking 'neeeeeeeerd!'

I don't think so, and from the looks of it, you definately are not alone here! XD

Infact, I used to be into Transformers as well. (Don't really like the new designs, but I DO want to play that new Transformers game)

At beast wars. I got to the point of collecting the toys.
I have a chest up in the loft with Optimus Primal, Cheetor, Rhinox, Rattrap, Megatron, Transquito, and a few other bug predacons.

I had a casual fling with Yu-Gi-Oh.

I alwasy wanted to give tabletop stuff a try (cost put me off, but I always drift slowly past my local GW store! XD).
And I wouldn't mind trying D'n'D some more, but I think doing it in person would be better.
(I kept dicking around the last time I tried it. Popculture references and stupid suggestions galore! XD)

(Again this stuff needs people, and Aylesbury... is pretty dry for people like that! XD)

EDIT: Oooh. I remember, being a kid, I was massively into Pokemon and Power Rangers.

Loads of videos and toys!

Got almost every single Mighty Morphing Zord, and if you went up into my loft, you would see lots of pokemon stuff. Loads of random crap all over. Pokemon coin-thingies you could launch and they spin, the talking toys (Pikachu, Evee, Jigglypuff, Togepi), All the Pokemon games till the end of the GBA era, Strategy guides, Pokemon piggy banks, and there may be a plushie up there. (It might be something else I can't remember)

Oh man. I love action figures. I used to have this big red crate. I remember fighting them with each other. Could Modo beat a Street Shark? Would the Red ranger be able to save Michealangelo from a Giant Stone Cold Steve Austin?
Man. I used to do some fun stuff. (I just want to go back up into the loft and play with these toys again. And the lego! (I will FIND that red bucket! One day!))

I write short stories, paint pewter figurines, and I am an amateur blacksmith. Wow I just realized how sad and lonely that reads...

I'm trying to get into voice acting. I've recently auditioned for some commercials and radio plays, and started putting raw demos up on Youtube. Check em out!

Critique and work opportunities appreciated!
