Everyone has them, what are yours?

My obsession is firearms. It is rather stereotypical of an American to like firearms however I like firearms more than the average American. It's not just shooting them that I like but also understanding the science behind how they work. I find firearms (historical and modern) to be fascinating because of the history and science behind them. Subsequently I tend to memorize a lot of concepts behind how they work, despite my lack of experience in handling guns (only fired a gun once).

I would put firearms under the engineering category, more then the science department. Since the inception of firearms, the science behind them has remained, for the most part, the same.

And you really should get out to shoot more often. Thinking about guns without putting holes in things seems almost like a waste.

Myself? I'm obsessed with GRENADES.

We should chill sometime, we'll go to the club and you can have all the grenades [http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=grenade] you want.

Well, since I just realized a few seconds ago that I'm out of cigarettes, my obsession right now is pretty much just CIGARETTE CIGARETTE CIGARETTE CIGARETTE repeated over and over in my head.

Wait, do they make "grenade ranges" anywhere in the U.S.? Nevada or something? Because that sounds pretty awesome.

I really couldn't say I have an obsessive hobby or interest in any particular area. I have broad interests.

I'm obsessed with winning. Nothing much else though that is constant. I go through phases, as do most people, but nothing I can think of that lasts all that long. Maybe movies. Maybe.

Mmm The Smashing Pumpkins, Vocaloid, this forum, and Rift.
But the worst pf all is cynicism.
It has driven so many people away and has made me practically aloof to enjoying everything about life. It's hard to lower your standards when the standards by which things are made are generally lower than a snake's naval, but then again, I'm only saying that because of...yeah my addiction.

Oh yeah, and cross dressing, I love it, everything from putting bows in my hair to borrowing a friend's skirt and blouse for an hour!

I want to go out and shoot but the problem is that I don't have a gun and am rather broke because I don't have a job =(

If I won the lottery, I would probably buy a whole armory of guns and my own private firing range.

No, he's currently being booed off-stage in New York...not winning.

Edit: Why would I doubt him? Of course he's winning! <url=http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/charlie-sheen-redeems-second-new-176812>His show was apparently a success.

Horror movies. God damn horror movies...
Also murderers. I hate them more than words could possibly explain, but I just need to know what they did, for some reason.

I am obsessed with a few things. One of them is tortilla chips. The other is finding a perfectly historically accurate replica (relics are in too poor condition) Viking war sword and axe to use for whatever I could use a sword and an axe for, as well as finding an authentic silver Nordic/Germanic/Viking/anything north of Spain ring.

Also, these little Thai candies that are tamarind flavored. I will go to the ends of the earth for these, but fortunately, the city into which I moved has a shop that sells them a block over from where I live.

I'm extremely competitive, and I'm a bit obsessed with arguing with a girl in my class because it delights me so.

Oh, and I'm currently obsessed with Hollywood Undead.

Oh you better believe they do to a certain extent. There is a place in...Arkansas I think (I bet there are others elsewhere) where you pretty much pay for whatever ammo you are going to use and you can pretty much fire anything from miniguns, mortars etc. I don't know if it was public though I think it is on private land.

I guess I have two obsessions, at the moment;

1. Magic: The Gathering. I devote more money to this game than I should. It has ruined my life. I love it.

2. The hypothetical zombie apocalypse. I don't go all crazy survivalist every fifteen minutes, (although Burt was my favorite character in the Tremors movies,) however every so often I will find myself thinking about it, and will wander into the outdoors/hardware section of any store I happen to be in at the time. Furthermore, I am looking into finding a reliable low-caliber rifle and handgun, preferably ones that use the same ammunition.
