This is a tough one since I have a lot of favourite films, but if I had to choose I would probably go for (in no particular order):
The Highlander
The Lostboys
The Breakfast Club
Is tough and you picked three of my possibilities.

Going with (this time)...

The Crow
Se7en
Dazed and Confused

Come and See
Full Metal Jacket
The Big Lebowski, you have to have to laugh from time to time

Kudos to the OP on Dr. Strangelove and Brazil. If you liked Dr. Strangelove you might like Fail-Safe as well, same basic storyline, accidental nuclear holocaust, but it's a different and very enjoyable movie in it's own right.

To Sir With Love
Goodfellas
Collateral

...But anyone who listed a Tarantino, Scorcese, or Fincher movie is cool in my book. And Se7en, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club and Gattaca are very high on my list.

Yes, to my great shame, I have yet to see this film, I love Sidney Lumet... I had a few opportunities to see it, and yet kept missing them consistently :(

I think I will buy the dvd today actually, and watch it :)

I'm sure you'll enjoy it, I wouldn't be embarrassed though. I can't recall how many times my brother told me to watch it before I finally did just to make him stop talking about it. I never thought I'd actually like a movie with Walter Matthau in it, but it surprised me.

The thread reminded me I also need to watch Das Boot again, and for anyone who liked Das Boot I would also recommend Stalingrad. I can't stress how amazing Come and See is though, it kind of ruined movies for me because it's so amazing and depressing at the same time. It's the only movie that I've watched where I said "That's the best movie I've ever seen, and I never want to watch it again." after my first viewing.

1. The Matrix
2. Kill Bill Vol. 1 (cant help myself but love pointless ultra-violence with swords)
3. Fight Club
