so my friends, what are your most anticipated top 3 games?

1. Doom: This is going to be best FPS since long time. and looks like how FPS should be like. the origin of FPS genre. i even like Doom 3. but from the previews i think its going to be even better. i hope they dont screw this up like they did with Rage.

2. Deus Ex 4: It was announce not long ago as deus ex universe. and has only one concept art. however Deus ex is one of the best franchise ever. first one was like greatest of all time PC game. and HR was amazing as well so its safe for me to say this one will be no less.

3. Star Citizen: So far from what i have seen game looks amazing. talking full PC advantage. space sim, dogfighting module, FPS module. has full Single player known as squadrone 42 and MMO part.

anyways what are yours?

Wasteland 2
Civilization: Beyond Earth
Europa Barbarorum 2 [*]

[*]This is a total conversion mod rather than a game, but it's been 7 years in development and is about to be released in a few days. While it doesn't technically qualify, it's what I'm really excited about.

I'll restrain from unannounced games, such as Elder Scrolls VI or Fallout 4.

1. Shadow of Mordor- Assassin's Creed parkour + Batman: Arkham City's combat + Lord of the Rings setting = My interest. To be honest, my big pull to this game is the nemesis system. Which if it delivers will be so awesome.

2. Beyond Earth- It's Civ 5 in space. Aliens, three different play-styles, and awesome environments. I'm all over that shit.

3. Dragon Age: Inquisition- Looks like a massive upgrade to both previous titles. Four playable races, strategic decisions, and awesome combat are really making me want this. Morrigan, Hawk, and our possible Grey Warden returning as well is making me anxious.

You beat me to it.

1. Shadowgate: I've only just found out that this is getting remade so I don't know too much about it. But I loved the original (and other Infocom titles). Ican'twaitIcan'twaitIcan'twait!

2. Danganronpa 2

3. Dragon Age Inquistion...kind of.

Bloodborne, Arkham Knight, The Order 1886 and Phantom Pain are at the top of my list. As for this year's releases I'm looking forward to AC Unity, Farcry 4, Alien Isolation, Driveclub and Evil Within(better be good). It's too bad The Order and Arkham Knight were pushed back to 2015 as I think they could have really 'saved' the new-gen consoles this year. Espescially PS4 with The Order being an exclusive and all. But ofcourse a delayed game is always better than an unfinished/buggy game. Still though, both these games look so awesome I can't hide my disappointment of not being able to play them this year. :p

Think what you will of Ubisoft I think they were/are the only publisher this year that released games which were actually worth something. I think 2014 will go down for me as one of the most crappiest years in gaming. Then again I have no doubt 2015 is going to be one of the best(if not the best) years ever!

Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold - super excited for this game and have had my import preordered for ages because im not waiting for them to release in Europe 9 months later again (region free now woooo!)

Bayonetta 2 - recently helped a friend clear a boss on Bayonetta and thats resparked my excitement for the series it still plays amazing even though its hard when your so drunk you can hardly see the screen (still kicked the bosses ass tho).

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - sequel to one of my favourite games of all time yeah im pretty hype but its tempered by the lack of footage shown or a solid release date so im sorta half and half here maybe the spot should go to the amazing looking Guilty Gear Xrd.

1. Witcher 3
2. Pillars of Eternity
3. Torment Tides of Numenera

Honorary mention: Cyberpunk 2077, because that game is still very far away and my hype for it hasn't hit critical levels at all yet, until I saw a gameplay trailer or something.

1. Bayonetta 2, been quite damn happy that we're getting a sequel finally along with the first game with costumes and HD touch ups for free.

2. Grey Goo, I've been waiting quite a long time for Petroglyph to finally make another RTS game and it's finally happening for a genre that seems more dead (dormant at best) than the other more popular genres out there so two RTS's within two years for me.

3.Halo 5, still a Halo fan after all these years and managed to enjoy 4 with friends and enjoyed some of the story but look forward to both 5 and the MC collection once I grab an XB1.

1. The witcher 3. It's looking like it's going to be the best open world action-rpg ever.

2. Bloodborne. It looks like it's going to be the best atmospheric action-rpg ever.

3.No man's sky. It looks like it's going to be really fun.

But seriously tho, I'm going crazy in anticipation for the Witcher 3.

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X
2. Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U
3. Persona 5

All are sequels to some of my favorite games. Persona 5 would probably be higher if there were more information about it.

Bayonetta 2 - Because Bayonetta 1 was a great game and the second game was pretty much the straw that broke the camel's back in me resisting the urge to obtain a Wii U, especially when the first game comes with it.

Stronghold Crusader 2 - Obviously only exists because of Rome: Total War 2, but the original was one of my favourite childhood games (just got the "HD" version on Steam last week too 'cause the disc broke). Can't wait for that to be a pile of buggy mess.

Rise of the Tomb Raider - I quite liked the "first" one, this doesn't look that much different in the story department but hopefully Lara won't be spreading an AoE poison which causes troubled people to die.

2014 has been a miserable year, I couldn't even come up with three games from it to look forward to. Warlords of Draenor is going to be another boring Orcfest (though I like the look of everything else) and the Master Chief collection is a update collection, not a new game. I mean I might as well hand FarCry Classic the game of the year award if we counted them.

I'm not anticipating anything, I've become so cynical and jaded!

Ahem.

1: Titanfall 2 (if it happens), the first was a great movement set let down by being essentially Call of Duty and having a frankly insulting amount of content and a terrible infrastructure in it for the price. If number 2 is better laid out for users (inf only/titan only modes, private matches, group join etc) and has better quality content (especially the campaign mode) bolted to the basic gameplay then it will be fantastic. Assuming it happens.

2: No Man's Sky, the premise in itself is interesting enough.

3: Battlefield 5 (because of course it will happen), I'm ignoring Hardline unless it turns out to be something special, but I have a date with giant explosions when 5 inevitably gets announced for 2016.

4: The New Starfox game, which I am awaiting with a mix of fear and trepidation to see if it's actually any good. Otherwise Miyamoto san might be about to kill the series for good with a stupid gimmick...

At the moment, probably Alien: Isolation (please don't screw it up CA), Civ: Beyond Earth, and Dying Light (Mirrors Edge meets Dead Island? Yep!). Honourable mentions to Star Citizen and Gal Civ 3.
Honestly though, the list changes whenever I see anything shiny.
