1. Silent Hills. I haven't been this excited for a Silent Hill since Shattered Memories. It looks brilliant and it looks like they are finally taking Silent Hill to a great direction, the road it should have been on. Homecoming was such a bitter americanised disappointment :(

2. Dragon Age Inquisitions. There are too many months between now and release. I need it now. GIVE IT TO ME!

3. I dunno. Can't think of anything else really. If anything whenever the Shiva battle becomes available on FF14. That's going to be fantastic.

Alternate 3. This is where I'd put Kingdom Hearts 3. If it were coming out this year. Or next year. God I want KH3 :(

My three most anticipated upcoming games?

Easy.

Let's be real, here. This is Homeworld 3, as done by the team behind the first games.
And there is nothing about that that doesn't get me excited.
http://blackbirdinteractive.com/games/

This is the only other game (besides HW:SB above), in years, that has gotten me excited for the genre of RTS. The game-play, mechanics, aesthetics, themes, and story-verse seem incredibly fascinating.

Campo Santo's first game, a new start up made up of alums from Telltale and other devs.

Sadly, there's no gameplay videos to go by yet. And while I could type out the current description of the game, this video does it succinctly enough that I'm going to link it to save time.

Honorable mentions:

Doom - Since I've nothing to go on save for it's existence it's hard to get excited. I'm intrigued, if nothing else, but not excited.

No Man's Sky - It's quite an intriguing premise, but I'm not entirely sold on the notion of it delivering on it's promises. We'll see.

Star Citizen - A bit like No Man's Sky above. Ambitious, but I'm not convinced. (yet)

Titanfall 2 - It's been announced, but it's so far off it's pointless to even speculate.

Half-Life 3 / Left 4 Dead 3 - It's known that both are in active development, but without any further information nor even an official announcement I can't list either in place of any of the three I've chosen above.

Dragon Age Inquisition, Silent Hills and Persona 5.

I don't expect any actual news or details about Silent Hills until after MGSV comes out, but we should get info on P5 soon enough, as it's supposed to come out in Japan before the end of the year.
And DA:I is almost upon us... :D

Hmmmm I'm trying to curb my enthusiasm lately given certain situations I've been forced into but off the top of my head I think of

1. Arkham Knight - I liked the three previous ones and also Scarecrow looks BADASS

2. Silent Hills - Norman Reedus + Hideo Kojima + Guillermo Del Toro + Silent Hill = Like everything I've wanted ever. I'm SO excited (even though Norman Reedus is probably gonna bring a whole bunch of know-nothing fans to the series and I'm an arrogant asshole who liked the series before Norman Reedus was in it), plus Del Toro's one of my favourite directors ever

3. and PROOOOBABLY Escape Dead Island because I'm a glutton for insane characters, hallucination sequences and the comic book style of Borderlands and Walking Dead.

Honourable mention for the Pre-Sequel because my friends are like so pumped and I guess it's exciting

How did I not know about this 'Shipbreakers' game!?!?!

Ok, never mind, that's been added to my list. Though too bad The Beast probably won't be in it.
From what I've gathered, it could be a kind-of prequel to the first Homeworld.

Now, whether that be the case I can't actually say. And when one considers that this game started out as Hardware: Shipbreakers, and thus had no affiliation with the Homeworld series[footnote]Blackbird Interactive, comprised of former Relic alums, set out to make a F2P, story-driven, PvP and PvE online RTS. The concept sounded intriguing, as did the story, but beyond aesthetics, interface, and composer it had no link to Homeworld. Only after Gearbox bought the rights to the franchise and "gifted" Blackbird the rights to the name did Hardware become Homeworld.

Now, they may have done a full rework of their concepts, both mechanically and narrative-wise, but for now it seems much of what Hardware was is making it's way over to this new Homeworld[/footnote], it's hard to say how the narrative of this game will fit into the Homeworld story-verse.

Whatever the case, a return to that story-verse is welcome. As is a return of Paul Ruskay, who is composing the soundtrack.

Alien: Isolation (please don't be bad)
Routine
Far Cry 4

Also would add Never Alone, Doll House, Hellraid and The Hum... Actually I would put The Hum closer to the top, but don't know if it will make the goal.

Tales of Zestria
Aw man! I knew I was forgetting about one other "Tales of" game after I picked up the collector's edition of Tales of Xillia 2 for myself!

*sighs* If this was a Top 5 instead of 3, Zestria would have been #4 on my list for sure...

NISA only localised the Vita version, split into two parts: Danganronpa 1 (which is already released) and Danganronpa 2 (coming out this September). I recommend you start with the first one.
Alright, thanks! I'll get both once Playstation TV launches in Europe. Love games in the style of Ace Attorney and Zero Escape.

1. Shovel Knight - Additional Content
You might not think it's considered as a new game to be anticipated. But the content adds new story modes for 3 of the villain knights each having their gimmicks and their levels complement their respective abilities. Not to mention that the events of said story modes will tie-in with the original storyline. Also, gender swap mode. I don't know how much will change in the original storyline if every major characters' genders are swapped, but color me intrigued.

2. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

3. ...nothing else...
I'm more into the small games with unforgettable and great gameplay. Can't think or haven't seen anything so far that caught my eye. Anyone care to recommend?

Damn... This is a hard one, even if it is only games for the WiiU.

The 3 ones being released are: Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta and Smash Bros.

But next year there's going to be the "real" Zelda title and Splatoon, and I guess I am anticipating at least Zelda more than Bayonetta, but also Splatoon over Hyrule W? not sure about that one...

But then there's going to be the next Xenoblade, maybe the new pokemon thing that will be revelead in one week will be something super awesome? And I bet I am forgetting something, and this is just the WiiU titles -.-

Too frigging difficult!
But I am going with the 3 first ones, the ones released this year, because they are the ones I'll be getting soon :D

It's really hard to pick.

No mans sky
...is grabbing my urge to explore right now that I'd normally save up for elite dangerous.
I just want to wander through that universe and see what it has to show me.

Pillars of eternity.
The thought that this is drawing closer reminds me of how I felt the day I learned Baldurs Gate 2 was going to be released.
I can already taste the adventure.

Mordheim.
It's a curious one because I'm unsure of the pedigree of the developers, and unsure if it will survive the transition into this format while keeping what made the original game so much fun.
I truly hope it manages it, or gets close enough to satisfy.

1.- Doom. I really hope it's just a blingier and larger Brutal Doom.
2.- Arkham Knight. Since I played Origins and despaired as I realized someone made the Arkham combat BORING.
3.- Erm... Smash bros I guess? Or... Erm. Wii U Zelda? Something on the Wii U, since it's the only console I have any interest in.

Not that I could play either of them :(
Well, Evil Within is also coming out on 7th gen consoles as far as I know. So you can certainly play that.
