does the internet count as a book.

too be honest i havent read a book in years. i used to read before i went to sleep but then i bought a tv and i watched tv before i slept then i got a dvd player and laptop and now watch movies before i sleep.

I wouldnt mind reading the witcher books, since i love the game i thought it would be a logical step. but i cant seem to find them in a easy spot.(might go look for them again)

probably the last book i read was the axis of time series.

edit just bought the first too witcher books if your interested

I've been reading Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco. It's slow going though as I find it to be rather complex at times. But I guess that's what I get for reading a book by a semiotician. But hey, at least it's easier than If on a winter's night a traveler. That book is crazy. Good but crazy.

At the same time I'm also having a go at Dialogues and Essays by Seneca the Younger. I have a thing for stoic philosophy. I'd recommend you all to read Meditations by Marcus Aurelius.

Next on the list is some book I have yet to decide by Dostoyevsky. I bought a collection of all his books for Christmas crazy cheap so I'll pick one of them and get going.

I honestly can't remember the last time I actually read an honest to goodness book.

Articles on the internet? All the time. Textbooks? When I'm forced to. But, like a novel? Fuck, it's been awhile. Not sure how I feel about that.

I'm not really reading any books at the moment, or at least not novels, which seems to be what you're really asking.

I am reading the paperback collection of Akira, but manga isn't exactly a 'novel' either.

The Hunger Games series is excellent, I'm only six chapters into the second one but if you like post-apocalyptic stuff (like me) it's brilliant and generally gripping. I read the whole of the first book in one hour-long sitting. It helps if, like me, you adore stuff that takes the concept of reality TV to an extreme (like the Doctor Who Series 1 finale).

Right now I'm reading Magician by Raymond E. Feist for the second time this year. I've maybe read it 9 or 10 times now, it's my favourite book :D Would advise it to any fellow Escapees that want to read a good fantasy novel :)

The Silmarillion by Tolkien for the upteenth time

I think the next one will be Metro2033, or I might re-read The Divine Comedy
