What brought you to the Escapist?

Friends would link me Zero Punctuation videos, I wanted more so checked out the Escapist, liked what I saw and have been coming back regularly since. I watch Zero Punctuation, the Jimquisition and MovieBob's videos every week.
Yeah, I was indroduced to the Escapist through Unskippable. Someone on another forum I used to visit linked to it and I was hooked.
I found Zero Punctuation somehow from AVGN... I had run out of James Rolfe vids to watch, and youtube had one linked to ZP... well, actually it was a poor ZP rip off... which was god awful! I then went to ZP after reading it in an angry comment on the rip off vid! I then found my way here, and watched them, then found the forum, and the rest is history... Well... that was technically too, but the rest is not as interesting!
I heard of Zero Punctuation when Yahtzee was writing for PC Gamer. Years later, I decided on a (very late) whim to watch his stuff. And lo, it was good.
I came to the forums because the topics on the sidebar and all their contents looked interesting, so I joined up in August after a year of merely reading through the forums. Totally glad I did get an account. Cool people abound on this forum.

The amount of 'ZP led me here' posts makes me wonder how many users would pack up and leave if Yahtzee decided to go to another site... I'd probably stay though, Critical Miss and Name Game are good enough to have me around.
A friend wouldn't stop quoting ZP, so I eventually decided to look it up. I started watching around the time of the AVP episode, then got a profile a little while later. The rest is history.
Well a friend showed me zero punctuation, and I liked it so I started watching them. Unskippable adds would play before the videos so eventually I caved in and watched, and that my friends is how I came across loadingreadyrun. Who then started hosting their videos here, so I come here even more often.
It's actually an extremely simple reason. I was already on some music forums, so I wanted to be on a forum where I could talk about games and shit too. Nothing really deeper than that at all, to be honest.
A web search on the mysteries of Autotune led me here. I came, I lurked, I joined. I like it here and I plan to stay. *firm nod*
This, I was brought here by Unforgotten Realms. I was watching the ORIGINAL series on youtube, then Sir Shmoopy of Awesometon ended up being re-rendered into a new first series on here... Then Rob sodded off onto his own website and stopped making episodes for about 6 months, then did 2 or 3 more, then stopped again. I haven't a clue on what he's doing now.Urgh76 said:Huh....

The Escapist started showing their videos, and that led me here.
My interest in this site was heavily tied into UR. But a friend of mine started sending me links to ZP (even though he's not a member of the Escapist) so I watched them, liked them as much as UR and made an account.
Then I noticed Extra Credits was on this site (another youtube favourite at the time) but when they left for penny arcade I say Jim Sterling's videos instead.
Now I'd say I'm here for the news, the forums, Jimquisition and ZP. Some of the comic strips are funny too.
Well ZP, I visited the page before that but only from time to time. I think ZP made the Escapist what it is today, it had some good stuff before but ZP alone got the critical mass needed to make that huge jump in popularity.
