My laptop is bloody abysmal, honestly, it's terrible.

I'm also incredibly bored...so I'd like a bit of advice, what games can I play I shall list my specs as told by systemrequirementslab.com

CPU: Intel(R) Celeron(R) M CPU 430
CPU Speed: 1.73GHz
RAM: 502.8 MB
OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic Edition (build 6000), 32-bit
Video Card: Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family
Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio

Is this like the worst thing ever? I don't know nothin' 'bout all this nonsense but yeah, anyone find me any games I can play with this then thanks a lot.
Any Games AT ALL

Well, there is always the website

Take the time out to play the first two of the Fallout Series:

You'll get a chance to see what all of the fuss was about.

You're still using that laptop?

You need to get some money.
I have ZERO motivation to invest in a gaming PC.

Because there is basically no PC support for JRPGs.

Totally sure about Morrowind.

Just get GOTY edition on Steam. Not regular. The expansions add sooooooooooooooo much content.

I disagree with this. I had almost the exact same specifications as the OP, except with a slightly faster processor (2GHz), and it was too laggy even on the minimum settings... it's the ram that is the real killer, which is why I recently upgraded.

Baldur's Gate will work fine though, as will any roguelike (except maybe Dwarf Fortress when you get too many Dwarves), and any RTSs will be fine from about C&C Generals backwards. Rome: Total War and earlier Total War games will be playable too. Other than that you really just need to find any old games you can, it's what I did.

Edit: Oh, and Morrowind and Daggerfall. Can't believe I forgot those.

But...but....Guild Wars 2.
Unless it's got Phantasy Star in the title, I don't care about any MMOs anymore.

Shit...It runs on netbooks, so I really just felt it could run on anything.

Well...mostly anything, it seems.

Ouch, my PC was beaten by a netbook...

That's pretty bad, I should have upgraded sooner.

OT: Something I forgot to mention is that if you can upgrade the ram at all, do so. It will GREATLY increase the amount of games you can play. It will still have trouble with some games due to the graphics card, but it was well worth the money when I did it. It also made Minecraft playable for me, just about.

Peggle and Plants vs. Zombies.

Also, the original X-COM games will surely run.

I second this.
And if you wanted to play FFXIV, that's the ONLY device that can run that JRPG.
Not that you'd want to play XIV.

The old Sierra games, Settlers, Civilization 3 probably, some old shooters.

I had a laptop just as bad and the best thing I could run was Star Wars: Empire at War on lowest settings :p

You can run Morrowind, maybe mid-high. You computer might also be able handle the high res texture packs.

Guild wars is a JRPG?

News to me, i thought it was a MMO developed by a American company.

Nothing Japanese about that.

Go with Morrowind like some previous posters said, Torchlight, Diablo 2, Fallout original collection, No One Lives Forever, original Half Life, Gunman Chronicles, etc.

Honestly, I've been carrying my silly old netbook around and playing these bad boys in all my classes.

They're still a load of fun.

Please enlighten me as to when I said Guild Wars was a JRPG.
I assumed you referred to Guild wars 2 when you replied to that comment about JRPG support on the PC.

Sorry, my mistake.
