well, i dont know how to make home made batter, but im not terrible at making pancakes or waffles (man do i love that waffle iron). haven't tried many recipes (never caught my interest that much yet, and im only 15 so... not a lot of time to really learn yet), but my dad has a recipe for some nice cookies i can make fairly well.
not to shabby at pasta or some simple vegetable dishes either. havent tried many kinds of pasta though. only classic spaghetti with tomato sauce or a garlic butter sauce (saute it in the latter and cover with parmesan cheese and it tastes really good)

also, still getting better at making burgers and steak or fish etc. on the grill. its hard for me to get the timing right, but im getting better.

and also, grilled cheese!

Being a student I do cooking as stress relief besides playing games.
I like to cook asian food especially japanese and resently tried a bit of chinese like jellyfish recipes (probably sounds a bit nasty but it is quite good).

Well, I can cook quite a bit because of this guy

After you get a handle of chemistry and thermodynamics, the rest seems child play. My only disadvantage is that I dont have access to an oven, so I only get to play with the stove top.

I'm a scratch baker, and make most dinners from scratch, as well. It's really a lot easier than you think. A parmesan cream sauce? Takes minutes, and is always exactly the way you personally like it. Besides, if you cook things yourself, you always know exactly how fresh the ingredients are and can get the spicing just right. My dirty rice is damn delicious, and gets better every time I make it, because cooking it over and over has let me learn the best balance of spices.

But you know what? I can't cook rice worth a damn. I always, always, ALWAYS ruin it. Don't know what it is, but I just can't do it. If I'm making a dish that has rice as a side, I ask my husband to make the rice, at least until I get myself a nice little rice cooker.

I can cook quite a few things if I have recipes and stuff.
It's not guaranteed it'll end well though.

I just ate the soggiest french toast ever created. Was like eating pancake batter.
Can you make grilled cheese?

I can do all the easy stuff, the best I can probably go is Sausages and Mash or Spaghetti Bolognese.

Handy hint: Bacon Sandwiches, splash a little Worcester Sauce on the Bacon whilst it's cooking.
You're welcome...

I can cook a few types of pasta, homemade chicken nuggets (talking completely from scratch with actual chicken) and homemade pizzas with naan bread base. They're at least my specialities.

I can cook sfouf, a type of Lebanese yellow-cake/corn bread. I can cook it pretty well, but I don't have the dark powers of Arab grandmothers that would enable me to cook it perfectly.

My family agrees that I make the best pancakes. I can also cook Puerto Rican rice, quesadillas, empanadillas, tostones, and jibaritos.

I can cook and bake a wide variety of things. I was planning on going to Culinary School, but decided I was better off sticking with going to school for engineering since chefs really don't make much unless they're famous.

I'm pretty decent at cooking and baking. I can easily bake bread and cookies (raisin, chocolate chip, ginger snaps etc.) from scratch, as well as cakes, brownies and cupcakes using packaged mixes. I've made pizza from scratch, sauce included.
I've also made a fried chicken dinner (chicken, bread, mashed potatoes and gravy) almost entirely from scratch, I used instant mashed potatoes only because I didn't feel like make the homemade version (though I can make them).
