earlier this morning i was talking with my friends when someone asked what we would wish for if we met a hooker that was also a genie, and as per usual, i brought up my one wish of being able to bring to life whatever i drew, such as a red vial of liquid that tastes like kool-aid but gave me the ability+knowledge to transform into a super-sayjin. They asked what would i do and said i would change the world, but then i started to think, how much power would one have to attain or how much action would a person have to do to be looked at as a god or god-like person?

All of this on a large scale:
Violate Newtons laws of motion - Flight and telekinesis
Violate General relativity - Faster than light travel and time travel, Omnipresence
Violate the laws of Thermodynamics - Creation and Destruction of energy
Violate bounds for strength molecule bounds - Indestructibility
Violate bounds for informational density - Omniscience

1) Gods are immortal.

2) Gods are the object of worship.

That is what defines godhood.

Wow, that's really impressive. I don't think I've ever seen it laid out quite so clearly before.

I would remove #1 (norse mythology anyone)

and add
#3: Have superhuman abilities
#4: Somehow influence or govern human fates or the world.

Immortality isn't superhuman? And being the object of worship is pretty much influencing a mass of people.

it is, it is, but jsut saying not all gods necessarily are immortal;they might have some other superhuman abilities. Like, say, throw thunder and spit lighting and sing in a really loud voice.

A powerful supernatural being who is worshipped by people and believed to control some aspect of the world or be the personification of some kind of force or element.

I think that pretty much covers most gods

Immortality, for one, but I think also the ability to exist outside the laws of physics, and the ability to create
