A lot, actually. I never trusted my parents, a long time ago they damaged my trust and they never regained it. Usually I hide feelings, I had a crush on a girl a few times and I never told them, even my current special feelings for another girl (more than a crush though, and complicated) are unknown to them.

As far as they know, I never showed any interest in girls. O how wrong they are, but I don't care. But there isn't much else I have to hide beside personal feelings and endeavours, dad would actually like to see me drunk once, but I barely touch alcohol, and I stay far far away from cigarettes and drugs.

I can't really say too much since I know my parents have people who check what I write on here (I'm 18 for christ's sake!) but a couple of porno mags and a single condom that was never used is about it (neither of which I have anymore).

The only thing I actively hide from my parents is what I think. It's pretty much normal for me to want to get crabby and say all this stuff to them, but in the end I just leave it. Life as a teenager is much easier when you actively avoid arguing with the parentals.

This unfortunately leads to me having a couple of stress habits, but whatever.

Condoms lube and a dildo o_O;
I hide them in a stuffed koala that I keep due to "sentimental value"

Speeding Ticket, my Mom knows that it happened because she's the one that told me to speed up when giving her a ride to the airport, but we're both keeping it under the lid from my Dad.

Never had to hide anything i guess, when i was 16-17 i did admitedly hide occasional booze for a party i'd be going to etc. I think with a drinking age of 18, thats when most people will do that.

By the way, is the drinking age across all of America 21, or is it different state to state?
I think it's federal law, so I'd say that it's all across America, this is why I plan to go to college in England. In any case, I hide whatever I really can't show my parents without them disowning me. That being said, it could be "Dirty Magazines" or anything of the such. Sometimes videogames, as my mom can get pretty strict on the M games thing.

How?
Long story short: It involves me as a 8-10 year old (can't remember exactly) being hunted down by my bullies like a fox (almost literally, I raced on my bike through the village and hid somewhere while they searched for me through the village) and threatened by a knife, the 2 guys I thought who were my friends just laughing at me and running away (they also ratted me out), and my parents not believing me and playing it down as they always did. Killed my trust in people in general, but my parents in particular.

All you guys saying "porn," hate to break it to you, but they know you look at porn. They never caught you, but they know.

Anyway, I hid smoking for a while. It came out when mom borrowed my car and asked about the Coke can full of cigarette butts. "Yeah, I smoke. Maybe you should have been a better parent." I didn't say that, but I'm pretty sure that's how she felt (even though I was technically an adult).

I've not read anyone else's posts cos I have to go to work in exactly 10 seconds, but I'm guessing I'm not the only one to say this: porn.

I hid smoking, "bad" report cards (anything less than a solid B meant I was in trouble), girlfriends, video games in general (from my mom; my dad was cool), stories/musings (if I wrote anything edgy, I must be troubled and in need of meds)... basically everything. My mom was/is a psycho *****. I wasn't a bad kid (aside from the smoking), but she'd regularly search through my room/backpack/email whenever I wasn't looking, desperate for something to pin on me.

I *still* hide video games from her (I'm 28 now). She thinks I "got over it" when I was ~17. She passionately hates video games (and technology in general).. but especially video games. She is the worst kind of hippie (earth-lovey luddite, feminist in a "women are better than you" kinda way, but none of the free-lovin', free thinkin' stuff). I know I'm supposed to stand up to her and all that, but it just won't work. I'm not an idiot - I tried to get through to her (logic, reason, etc.) for years. "Coming out" (about all manner of things) can only result in perpetual in-your-face, making-my-life-hell vitriol. I learned how to be a super-paranoid perfect liar a long time ago, and that's how it's gonna be until one of us dies. Unfortunately, she'll prolly live into her late 80s like all the other gals in her family. My father and his father got snuffed out young by prostate cancer, and I'm likely to go the same way. She's already won. She's like fucking Ursula from 100 years of solitude.. argh. I'm drunk and it's hella late. This damn topic ignited something touchy in me. Sorry about that. Good job; carry on.. peace, homies.

I'm sure they knew, however hiding it meant we didn't have to talk about it.

Yeah, that's actually a pretty good point. "So, son, we've noticed a lot of Asians in your pornography. Care to explain?"
