What did folks think of Transistor?

Eh.. I liked it but I was so blown away by Bastion, it was impossible to replicate that, so it ended up a tad underwhelming

This. Plus, I expected it to be larger scale than Bastion, so my own expectations led to me being disappointed. What's there is all really good ofc, but I was hoping for a more full-featured RPG.

I finished the game in 4 hours. I didn't like the gameplay that much. With regards to the story, I just found it utterly vague. With a mystery I like to at least understand what I don't understand. These occasional hints at a coherent line of events just don't count as a story to me. So yeah, great artstyle and soundtrack but honestly, with the soundtrack on youtube I don't really think I'll ever play the game again.
