What did you get for Christmas?

A few clothes and a shaver. This is my second year of not particularly getting much from people for Christmas and actually I'm beginning not to care now that I realise once you have a job you don't have to rely on freak events and good will to get things you want.

I got a bunch of books about LEGO and Minecraft as well as a repair and maintenance guide for cyclists. Brick by Brick is turning out to be a damn good read btw.

I also got some nice smells, a cute TY plush of The Hulk and a POP! figure of Jon Snow (he knows nothing), a big pile of chocolate, some beer and 5 bottles of rum.

Just before Christmas I bought myself a 50" plasma tv and The Avengers blu-ray box set. I'm in the process of sifting through Steam for some hot, tasty deals and come the January sales I'll be spending my Christmas money on a project computer.

I think I've done well this year.

Christmas was pretty good to me this year. I got a lot of boring but useful things like underwear, sheets and bathroom supplies - which being a 20 year old male living away from home I really appreciate xD.

I also got a crap ton of chocolate which is making my desire to eat healthier difficult.

A 3DS XL with Pokemon X and Fire Emblem: Awakening!!! Now I can play all those delicious JRPGs I've been missing out on.

I also got a portable Bluetooth speaker which is pretty cool. Surprisingly decent sound quality considering it's size.

Christmas was pretty much just my girlfriend and myself this year, which is better than it may sound.

I bought her a new Laptop a copy of Despicable Me 2, a little key fob 4gig USB stick and a Transformers Prime Shockwave fig for her growing collection of Shockwaves.

I was given a couple of 2-tone red and black Dickies work shirts, a handful of copic markers, a new sketchbook, a copy of "This book is full of spiders" and copies of Manga Studio EX5 and Anime Studio 6.

Having a lot of fun with those last two. Been a while since I've used any Illustration software and I'm a bit rusty.

Other than that, she and I watch a ton of movies so we just kinda raided the DVD/BluRay isle and bought ourselves copies of:

- 3DS XL Black and Blue with Pokemon X (and no charger so I will have to wait until after New Year's to order myself one so I can properly play)
- silver earrings
- a sort of a hoodie
- a winter/autumn dress

- a brick game with about 99 games on it XD (oh, the nostalgia) -> I am owning tetris! XD

I got all this from others. I haven't bought anything noteworthy for myself, unlike last year, when I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (hurrah for 13th salary).

A jar filled with 5 bags of Skittles and lip balm from my boyfriends sister. I pretty much screamed when I saw it, it's the best gift I've ever had!
A DS with FireRed and Zelda: Minish Cap(?) in a spongebob case, a Flareon, Snorlax an Vaporeon teddy. A Hello Kitty selection box, a Hello Kitty mug, a box of Quality Street, a cat diary off my boyfriend.
Some earmuffs, toe socks and smellies and perfume from bfs mum.
Adopt a Cat gift off bfs dad which was a very thoughtful gift.
A photoframe and £10 from bfs grandma (which is more than my own grandma has given me in my whole life... -.-)

A dressing gown, perfume and a cat calender from mum.
Awaiting brothers present.
My sister got me loads, I was nearly bowled over. She got me Nightmare before Christmas earrings, two lots of perfume, a Nivea set, a Vaseline lip care set, a TARDIS bath bombs and two little Daleks.
Lip balm from neighbour (seriously, so much lip balm this year!)

That's like the best haul I've had for years. Probably because this year I've got a boyfriend who actually cares about me and so do his family
