The night before it launched, my friend and I were playing B3, I used the Defibrillator so much I started screaming "DEFIB".

So when I got it all I could think was to call my Nord 'Defib'.

I usually go with Artemis. Its technically a girls name but I think it works for both genders.

My Argonian's name is Mar-Rei. I was toying around with pieces of Argonian names I found online and noticed that Mar-Rei kinda sounded like my name, but with an Argonian twist to it, so I went with it.

Silent-Shadow, Argonian Sneaking-smithing-marksman-warrior-wizard-guy-thing.

I wanted to use the name in hist, but I could not find a translator anywhere. And since argonian is "(gasp of surprise) only spoken by argonians" I figured the english version would do well-enough.

Cicero. Not only is it a historical name, it's also the name of my great-great grandfather, who was a pimp / veterinarian in the Old West. Yep.

Wolfgar Runebreaker, same name I used for my Nord in Morrowind, same one I used for my Oblivion Nord. It's kinda a familyline thing.

Heh... not bad name.

Meself, I made a Breton. When I realised that one of the preset faces looks eerily similar to Johnny the Jew from The Lost and Damned (GTA IV), I went with that and named my character Klebitz. Fits in perfectly with his general attitude and the fact that he runs with the thieves guild and the companions. And wears a leather jacket.

Once I make a new character (which is kind of an inevitability with TES games), I'll name them Ragnar Bearmurder. They shall Viking, and they shall Viking well.

I named by Breton "Rowyn Arvine."
When I got the dog, I was going to name it "Rowyn Canine", but there's no option to do that, sadly.

One is named Jan Jansen, in honor of the most famous turnip-loving , knee-puncturing, hamster-stealing, deadly-items-peddling, ass-kissing, leg-pulling, annoying eccentric gnome inventor this side of Faerun.

The other is named Hannibal Katz because I like that it sounds so fancy, you can almost hear Sean Connery's voice when saying it.

Rodrik Kabbat Arenthia

He's a Bosmer (with some Dunmer blood in him). The great-grandson of two of my Oblivion characters, Roderick Arenthia a wood elf mage/archer/alchemist/explorer. His family are named Arenthia as they are an old Bosmer family hailing from the city of Arenthia in Valenwood. (Have more background on him if anyone's remotely interested).

The other character is called Kabbath. She's a Dunmer murderess, renowned for her merciless killings throughout Cyrodiil. Not much is known about her background, other than she was transported to the Imperial City from Morrowind. Back before she became head of The Dark Brotherhood and a large group of bandits, she met Roderick in the wilderness, after being hunted down my Imperial soldiers. She was nursed back to health by him and developed a bit of thing for each other, while hidden out in the wilderness.

Anyway, my Skyrim character was named Rodrik Kabbat Arenthia, in recognition of his family history.
