I don't come up with my own names. Ever.

Of course, I named mine Hershel. Half from my obsession with Professor Layton and half because that's what I name all my fantasy characters. It's a real name yet fantasy-y enough to pull off in that environment.

Also fun fact, if I ever have a companion that I can name, it's always Luke.

Iam an Imperial named Jebus for the Lols and the fact that ever since i asked my friend for a name for my Fallout 3 character its been a running thing for me in oblivion, Fallout 3 and fallout: NV (I replayed oblivion and named the new char Jebus)

My main is named the same as me on here (and most other things), I'm always terrible at coming up with good made up names, so I don't bother and tend to just use my nickname.
