What did you want to see at E3 that didn't show up?

To name a few. And really, the vast majority of games that were on display at E3 didn't interest me at all - save for a few titles here and there and a few titles revealed at Nintendo's conference.

That, and I'm still hoping against hope that we'll see a Psychonauts sequel.

All in all a rather meek, predictable, dull, and generally uninformative E3. 'Course, this doesn't come as a shock.

More new IPs. The only one I saw announced at E3 (that I both know of and am at least mildly interested in) was Splatoon. All of the other stuff I liked was either from an established series or was known about prior to E3.

An announcement that there will no longer be console exclusives so that I just buy one console and play games on that without having to decide between consoles. Sadly this will never happen.

I wasn't really sure what to hope for but now im split. Nintendo made me remember the Wii U exists and it actually looks like it may be getting some good games soon, I've always loved the Zelda series and would be interested in some other Nintendo exclusives too. Bayonetta 2 coming out with the first one free with it also sounds great. They made me look into their console and I realized it wasn't based mostly on motion controls and looks alright.

So I want to get a Wii U now but then Bloodbourne was shown off, Miyazaki's new game that will be a spiritual sequel to the souls games. Once I picked up my money that bounced off the screen I realized that it will probably be a PS4 exclusive. So now im stuck between Wii U or PS4....

I hate exclusives.

Something of substance about Mass Effect 4.

Well, actually I haven't been looking forward to anything in particular, that was just the biggest disappointment. If you all you're willing to show are 5 seconds or so of a Krogan standing around somewhere and a few pictures, then better show nothign at all.

Well I've been hoping for a new F-Zero game to be announced for around 10 years now.Still waiting...

Two games i really wanted to be announced were Majora's Mask HD for the 3ds (id still buy it on Wii U) or a new Metroid title. This is whats holding me back on Wii U and with each passing year i get more concerned that we're going to have 64 situation where we my favourite Nintendo series skips a generation after the abomination that was Other M.

Also i would have liked an anouncement that the entire writing team who worked on Mass Effect 3 has been fired and the ME1 team has returned.

Actually, Grey Goo was at E3. I saw a stage demo yesterday during Gamespot's live coverage.

For me it was Fallout 4, I just want Bethesda to acknowledge it's existence (if it does). Also it would have been neat if there was a Viva Pinata 3 announcement, although that would be very unlikely. The games appealed to me as a Pokemon fan and I found them extremely charming aesthetically.

I think they've said both. However I would want it like the recent ones. I adored RE6.

You must be the first person I heared someone like the game.
I never played it myself, but I LOVE the monsters design.
As for the scenario.......meh [from the details I know. I never played it as I said].
I would prefer if the game was more like the RE: Revelation.

Metroid. Cmoooon Nintendo, don't leave me hanging, we haven't had a new Metroid game since Prime 3, and we haven't had a new 2D Metroid since Zero Mission, which was a decade ago! I really like the fact Metroid-Vania games seem to have had a slight re-appearance in recent years thanks to Indie's like Guacamelee and Dust, however they all seem to be Melee combat focused and I need my Metroid damnit!!!

Was hoping to hear that Sony had stopped making Plus mandatory for online play with the ps4; and I get there's lots of new interesting features but why not lock those behind a paywall instead.

I think the DoW devs went bust. Who owns that particular IP now?
Nintendo should buy it and put it on the WiiU. That would get me to buy one. I was hoping to hear of some interesting big name third party support for the WiiU. Nintendo did seem to really rally their base didn't they? Just didn't really try to draw the rest of us in.
