What do Mana and Hp potions taste like?

Based on Oblivion, most of healing potions taste like some kind of meat.

I'm pretty sure that has been the canonical answer from every source that has ever noted their flavor ever.

Also, the energy drinks of the same name are pretty bloody terrible tasting.

Bad probably, Hp, well they're made for magical healing, so we're assuming some magical ingredients picked for their powers not their taste, roots might give it a gritty aspect, there might be a metallic taste (most potions seem to be blood read) or even a slimy consisty from whatever strange bug juice or whatever is required. The taste may change from potion to potion too, depending on the variation in recipe and ingredient. Mana potions might be a bit different being drawn from natural sources of magic (water from the highest mountain, unicorn urine, etc).

I always thought that HP drinks would taste like straw/raspberry,and that Mana/magic/whatever would taste like oranges....

I would imagine that the Mana Potion tastes like Lo-Carb Monster while the health potion tastes like mixed berries and soya.

As for HP potions... they probably taste like whatever you like most, so they taste different for everybody.

Either like medicine (You know, the taste we talk about when we say that "medicine is supposed to taste bad"), or slightly sweet and sticky(a mix between honey/syrup and clear fruit juice).

HP potions taste like : Celery, Ginger, Apple,Beetroot and tomato mixed in together

and MANA potions taste like 'Like old Spice'

I probably suppose, seeing as how they're magical substances conjured from stuffing mushrooms into bottles and shaking the bottle up and down (See: "Terraria") I imagine they taste like shit.

Or they probably just tastle like water. Either way.

Believe it or not but their are three kinds of potion energy drinks that are actually mana and health potion. (plus blood)

Mana tastes like citrus fruit and health tastes like apple/cinnamon

Blood...I have no idea...tomato juice or chili?
