Games. Games, games, games, games....
Really though, I use it for pretty much everything. I rarely talk to people offline, I write, shop online (I don't leave my house), get sucked into Wiki and TVTropes comas for hours, watch videos online (hate television). Basically I'm utterly addicted to my computer. It has gotten to the point where I think of it as an extension of myself, where I offload some of my mental processes to.
And games.

The laptop is carried with me to campus (or not---lately it's spent more time on the desk in the front room) and used for communication mostly---it's got a built-in webcam so on those occasions that I have someone to talk to in Intertubes land they get to see me. It's also my writer's workstation, used for typing up papers or writing creatively. I've got some old games installed on it for those occasions where I'm out and don't want to go home---games like Port Royale 2 and SimCity 4 go well with outdoor settings and you haven't truly lived until you've put a mouse pad down on a grassy field on a warm sunny day.
