What are some of the dumb things you buy and possibly only look at them and maybe play them once and now you wonder why? I have done this many times, i have some games i never even played... Anyone else like this? and if so, with what? (Gaming and tech related)

I think this would have been a beter thing to float into the off-topic section.

Anyway i bought the Valve Complete pack from Steam about 3 years ago and i have still never touched whatever the hell Ricochet is.

Not really, i mean it to be for games and things related to games such as electronics and all of that.

I bought a tamagotchi last summer, it died once and I haven't looked at it since. Also bought a Dreamcast the other day. I have no idea why.

Dawn of War II Retribution. I dunno, I was expecting different. Like, a little bit more similar to Dawn of War 1. From what I've seen so far there's no base-building and the entire game is different. It's like they took the same route that EALA did with the Command & Conquer series, except at least I had fun playing Tiberian Twilight after tuning my brain to think that it was a standalone game and not a sequel to the Tiberium universe.

Same with Red Dead Redemption. I literally almost failed the TUTORIAL because I couldn't figure out the controls.

That's two games that I played for about an hour and then stopped almost immediately.

I got Assassin's Creed and Fable II for $10 at Gamestop. I haven't touched Fable II. Mainly because when I put it in my 360, it sounds like a nuclear siren and a 747 lifting off. And I can't sell it for anything, so it just takes up space on my shelf.

Nothing, really. I'm a cheap bastard, so I tend to avoid emotional, or spur of the moment purchases.

My reply is off-topc, but what the hell!

My local bookstore was having an intense sale, books for $1-$5, and I bought 10 of them that I never really researched like my other books before purchase, any ways, I haven't touched them, they are in a plastic box, under a suitcase full of summer clothes, so until summer decides to come to Alberta Canada, I'm not touching those books.

I bought Halo Wars CE on December 16th, 2009. Still haven't touched it.

I've started a few games on DA:O but never really got anywhere, and I played Metro 2033/Red Faction for about an hour each before stopping and never touching again. There's a few more I've barely played too
