I don't remember Skyrim ever having a loadscreen long enough to worth mentioning. And same for any other game I currently play.

On my old rig VtM:Bloodlines drove me crazy though, I would sit quietly and read the onscreen info/hint once or twice, till the loadscreen was halfway... Then I'd start bashing my head on the desk because OH MY GOD THIS CAN'T POSSIBLY ACTUALLY TAKE SO LONG!!!

And sometimes I'd have just gone inside a house when I realized it's the wrong place or I forgot something important... Then it's 5 min loadscreen, turn around, 5 min loadscreen.

That game made me a RAMphile heh, always max it out for the OS now, and since doing so everything has been wonderfull.

So yeah, quick answer, selfharm apparently.

Prop my feet up on the coffee table, take a quick drink, eat a couple chips, stretch--anything that takes a few seconds to do. If they're incredibly long install times for a patch or HDD install, I usually break out whatever book I'm reading and power through a few chapters.

If it's a short loading screen then I take the game of "dashing to the toliet and back in time or not". If I don't have to go than I check my mobile for new messages.

If it's longer like loading for the first time like an MMORPG then I either check my mobile for new message, toliet break or hitting the window page to take me back to my desktop screen so I can surf the net abit.

Depending on the game (and loading times), I generally do what most others seem to. Grab a bite to eat, get a new drink or have a bathroom break. If they're quick screens, I sometimes alt tab into the browser to look at Facebook or email, or just sit back and clean my nails (because why not).

I just wait it out unless I need the bathroom, want a snack or if my PC is on I'll read a bit of a review for the game I am playing...

Usually just wait. Sometimes I'll close my eyes to give them a rest during particularly long gaming sessions.

Wait like a zombie. Usually loading screen are short. If I know its going to be a long time I sometimes go do something else.

Most games load in around ten seconds so not much to accomplish in that time.. Perhaps sip some tea or coffee and eat a snack if i have any of these at the time.

Depends, some games there's no time to do anything, if its a notorious one I normally just dick around with my buckycube

Best gift I ever got.

SSD, 32GB of RAM, and an i7 Ivy bridge processor. I usually just blink during a load screen. >:D

Wasn`t there a Tekken with a shoot`em up minigame as loading screen?
I´m not even sure if it really was Tekken, but i always liked the idea of playing retro or flash games during the loading times.

Not much, honestly. The longest of my "loading screens" are, at most, 20~25 seconds. Save for maybe TF2. Not sure why but it's been loading into servers much slower lately. S'odd.

But really, most of the time my game loading screens are between 5 to 15 seconds. Not really enough time to do anything beyond...I don't know...stretch my legs quickly or take a swig of my drink.

I always just wait them out and stare blankly around the room. In Skyrim loading screens you can at least rotate the models for a bit of entertainment.

Though one time during ACII the game just gave up loading, and I was running around in the Animus for a good 15 minutes before I finally gave up.

My cat likes to sit on my lap while I'm playing, so I give her a cuddle. It's funny, she knows right away that as soon as I have a controller in my hands, I'm not going to be moving for a while.
