I don't remember Skyrim ever having a loadscreen long enough to worth mentioning. And same for any other game I currently play.
On my old rig VtM:Bloodlines drove me crazy though, I would sit quietly and read the onscreen info/hint once or twice, till the loadscreen was halfway... Then I'd start bashing my head on the desk because OH MY GOD THIS CAN'T POSSIBLY ACTUALLY TAKE SO LONG!!!
And sometimes I'd have just gone inside a house when I realized it's the wrong place or I forgot something important... Then it's 5 min loadscreen, turn around, 5 min loadscreen.
That game made me a RAMphile heh, always max it out for the OS now, and since doing so everything has been wonderfull.
So yeah, quick answer, selfharm apparently.
