When im at work and have sat down for a long day of slacking the first thing I do after logging on is pick up the same pen to fiddle with while I work. Its a lovely double ender of a graphics pen.

At home I'll sit and play with my balls [http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/asianideas_2014_2360221]

How about you

Mainly while on the computer.

Violin. Typing. Writing. Painting. Drawing. Punching out chaves and misogynists. And much more besides.

Masturbate.

And uhm...

Yeah pretty much that.

Sometimes I like to draw. I used to pretty good at it, but I've had exactly zero motivation or inspiration to do anything related to visual arts in like the past year. So yeah... That's about it. Sometimes at the sametime.

I also tap out the rythmn of the music I am listening to often.

I seem to be some sort of rhythm addict, and continually drum out patterns on my folder and keyboard. Even now, as I'm typing this my feet are tap-tip-tapping away, and even my typing has a strange sort of cadence to it.

I honestly thought this was going to be a thread about what you do with your hands at a gig. Seriously, when everything gets going it's fine because you can wave them in the air and dance, but when the support bands are warming up, it's hard to know what to do. Fold them? In the pockets? I can never decide.

Right now though, and for a lot of the time during the day, they're tapping away at my keyboard. When I get home, they fumble around with a mug and a kettle and then wrap themselves snugly around a 360 controller. Oh, and I have a habit of cracking my knuckles, so they make a lot of noise sometimes.

cracking my knucles or running them through my hair, hoping the action would make them smoother...

I do various tricks with pencils (twirl it around my thumb and then catch it. Move it between the spaces between my fingers just by raising and lowering my fingers (like what they do with pokerchips sort of) balancing it vetical on one finger ect.) But I don't do any of that while I'm on the computer. I do stuff like that while I'm bored at school or something.

On the computer I mostly just have one hand on the mouse and the other sort chilling on the table. Occasionally I stroke my beard like an evil genious. That's about it.

Straightening out my beard (when I have one), drumming music (particularly while I'm listening to it), readjusting clothes, typing up long rants vaguely reminescent of Yahtzee (which is odd, because I've been writing like that since well before I read his stuff). Oh and a bit of fap I guess.

Oh! And cracking knuckles. A lot. And stretching my arms a lot. Recently got into manual labour, so lots of stretching and warm-downs in the hopes that I'll still have functioning articulation at the end of it.

Does biting my nails count?

Also, speaking of zero motivation, did you guys catch Zero Coordination on PO? I wonder what his Trilbiheadedness thought of it.

You mean to keep my hands busy? I crack my knuckles and stroke my beard, usually. When I get frustrated I tend to run my fingers through my hair.

I try not to keep any dice or similarly dimensioned objects around my general area, as I start fiddling with them and I can't stop.

Failing that, I do some pretty amazing stuff to my lips.
