I don't know about some of the other people in this thread, but my computer doesn't run on coal.

I'm lucky if i have time to adjust myself in my seat.

Tho I love the idea of shoveling coal into a furnace to increase load times and well just run a computer.

Most games I don't have a problem with loading times. They're just not that long these days. The only two exceptions I can think of at the moment are Team Fortress 2 and The Witcher. With TF2, usually it invovles waiting for a free slot on my favorite server, then waiting for it to load, so I usually just go outside for a smoke, then come in a read a few pages of whatever book I'm reading at the time. With The Witcher, even with all the patches, some places can still take a minute to load, so I just read then as well, or so get something to drink, or a snack.

Usually I read a book. When you don't want it to load quickly it often does, so either way I win.

Watch the video playing on the other monitor a bit more closely.

After all, the longest load times are only about a minute or so. So its not like you can do that much.

I play my acoustic guitar usually, its close enough to pick up and put down quickly.

Unless I'm properly distracted by getting some food or something, I'm usually lamenting the passing of the cartridge format. Say what you want about their storage space, but damn if they didn't load and save things lightning-quick. And silently too, come to think of it.
