What do you hate?

I am currently dealing with one of the few things I truly hate, my nose during a cold, no matter how much you blow you never get relief and the rim of the nose crusts over, I frikkin hate it. Also Vanille from ff13 can be sacrificed to a volcano and I would piss over her grave I hate her that much.

HEY! That movie was very well done, all things considered. I'd like to see YOU compress an entire season of a TV show into a single 2 hour movie and have it come out even HALF as well, a 8th even.

Well,
First, that's a poor argument. You would be willing to complain about a poorly made steak, even though you yourself are not a cook. And by "you" I mean a hypothetical person.

Secondly, I think the problem was the basic idea of remaking the entire first season. There's no way you could do it well, with as much compression as has to happen.

Third, Why remake the series at all? There's very very little wrong with it in the first place.

Fourth, I personally feel that M. Night's execution was lackluster. Everyone spends so much time spouting exposition that no one has any kind of character. Not to mention the unbelievable plot holes large enough to use as Olympic swimming pools.

For example, why would you imprison EARTHbenders in a valley with walls made of ROCK and a DIRT floor? And for that matter why did the Earthbenders in question wait around for a twelve-year-old to tell them to just use their powers? Furthermore, why does nobody just put out the fires so that the Firebenders have nothing to use?


Okay, I'll stop there, but I could go on for hours.

I'm not going to get into this with you. You're clearly one of those unpleasable types who made up their mind to hate the thing before even giving it a chance, as you tend to do with most things that don't fit your twisted ideal of favorite franchise.
