I like some metal, but mostly alternative metal. Not a fan of speed metal or ludicrous harmonics on the guitar, or screamer.

I only headbang when at a live show, otherwise you just look silly.

When at home, I find myself tapping my foot instead of headbanging. If I do move my head, it's never in a "banging" motion; rather more a slight nodding My foot-tapping/slight nodding happens with almost anything I listen to so I guess hardcore, ska, punk, and most variations thereof. The only metal CDs I own are by Mastodon and Dream Theater so I suppose those are the two answers you're looking to.

The wolf is loose is one of my favourite Mastodon songs.

I'm sure everyone here must have heard of Sepultura. They're pretty well-known. And good (coming from someone who isn't a massive metal fan.)

As for the other two bands...Definitely not my thing I'm afraid. I grew out of Power Metal years and years and years ago so Angra doesn't tickle my fancy. And Shadowside is simply the type of metal that I sincerely dislike . But as I said, Sepultura are pretty awesome.
