What do you know about EverQuest Next?

Let me start off by saying that I've sunk a huge portion of my life into EverQuest. It's my favorite game I've ever played, and all my time since leaving it has been spent attempting to find a replacement.

Today I heard whispers of an EverQuest Next, a new EQ MMO on the horizon. Supposedly more information will be released later this year.

What do you know about it? I'm curious.

Yeah, Everquest Next was first hinted at a few years back, but we haven't really learned much since. They said that they were returning more to the feel of the original game (although that could mean a lot of things), rather than the feel of EQ 2. Anyway, as another person who spent a ton of time on EQ1, I too have been eager to learn more about the next installment in the franchise.
