Hello escapist, Pegghead here.
So with the announcement of Bioshock: Infinite we can already see just how different the game is to the Bioshock games we know and love, where one is filled with cutthroat aquatic hijinks and socio-religious and political ideology in a deco dystopia Infinite seems to be filled with high flying combat and uber patriotism in a steampunk paradise.
This is the kind of sequel I like, taking the same basic concept and sending it to new, interesting places with new characters, story and feel. The same can be applied to movies and books as well.
So escapist, what do you like sequels to do with a franchise?
