What Do You Look Like?

I've spent so much time in my user groups, I'm not sure anyone around the forums actually knows me anymore. But hey, all in good fun...

I may not have the most photogenic mug around, but I want to go on record saying I'm damn proud to be able to present myself to my fellow Escapists looking like this - after all, 24 weeks ago I still weighed 49kg more than I do now!

Wow dude, I remember (dunno why) the last time you posted a pic, you aren't joking about the weight loss, congrats dude! How was this achieved?

I answered this very question in this thread already, so lemme just go ahead and quote myself.

Liposuction, xenos biotech drugs and a standard soul pact with the Ruinous Powers, of course.

... Really, it's as simple as can be.
Short version: I ate less and exercised.
Long version:
- No soda, no juice, no alcohol, no sweets.
- Counting calories (max 800-1000 a day); food journal for self-control.
- A few small workouts every day to prevent muscle loss and accelerate fat burn. (Late-game addition: Swimming 2km, 3-5 times a week.)
- Eating at regular intervals (9, 2 and 7) to control insulin secretion and thus avoid hunger attacks.
- Healthy and balanced diet consisting of all required food groups to prevent malnutrition.

That's really all there is to it. Simple and cheap, for sure, but damn hard at times to stay disciplined. ^^°
I think I'm gonna go another 2 weeks or so, and then call it quits. Almost half a year now, and my patience and willpower are just about used up.

I will. Since I lost the weight I've got a lot more energy and I enjoy burning it away through sports, so I really think I won't have much of a problem staying in shape now that the ordeal is over. For once my body chemistry is working in my favour, it seems.
