What do you love most about your console? Xbox360/PS3

i sold my 360 and all the games with it just so i can get a PS3. I like the controller more, and the exclusive games that come with it. I like that i can link my PS3 with my friends and get whatever they buy for free. Deathspank and tons of Rockband songs for free..maybe can do that with 360, not sure..dont remember doin that. and, i havnt noticed a single difference in multiplayer, join games pretty fast on both and the players still talk shit about everything they can find.. Oh! my 360 broke two of my Modern Warfare 2 disk, while the ps3 disks seem to never get a scratch.

I recently acquired a beastly gaming computer. I may never play my 360 again.

(OK, yeah, I probably will. I personally HATE the 360. It's a broken piece of shit that Microsoft HAS ADMITTED has major design flaws. That being said, the games that are being made for it are SO MUCH BETTER than the games being made for the PS3. That's just the way I see it. No flaming necessary.)

For me it came down to the games, or well one game: The Last Guardian.
That is the sole reason I got the PS3 in the first place, a little over a year ago.

Really that is all, would love to be able to play Halo, Gears, Limbo, and the xboxlive arcade looks really cool but my resources are limited, and I really really love Shadow of the Colossus, so got to get The Last Guardian ^^ Not that I don't love my PS3, actually I have probably turned into a little bit of a fanboy: ''Don't flame mah console noobcakes!'' ;D

My PS3 can play: Metal Gear Solid, Ratchet & Clank, LittleBigPlanet, God of War, Infamous, Uncharted, Killzone, 3DDotGameHeroes and Resistance.

My 360 can play the Mass Effect series.

I like my Xbox 360 better.

PSN is free *XBL is more reliable*
XMB menu (wish is was faster when you access ingame)
Great exclusives as in the likes of Uncharted, Killzone ect *a matter of pure opinion, on both sides*
Personalization - backgrounds, colors ect. *can be done with the 360*

I thought the wii was too,but that was my game bias to the wii.It is more of an opinion and the problem is that it had so much hype put up on it when in reality,it is just another genre which people often fail to realize.

Well, I don't play online very often but I do still like to go online every once in a while. It's nice to know that with the PS3 I always have an online network, but since I don't have to pay for it I don't feel obligated to use it all the time to get the most out of my money.

I also really love the controller. It's simple, but it has enough buttons to do the job. And it's wireless but is easily rechargable. And you can even play it wired if you want.

(Though if I had to say what I hate most about my PS3 it's the fact that it's not backwards-compatible. I'd seriously pay $100 for a peripheral or software update that allowed me to play my PS2 games on it, but Sony's being a douche about it.)

I read somewhere about some software you can download for your PS3(I believe it was legit, by Sony) that allowed you to play PS2 format software, as long as the game was compatible with installing data. I think that's what it was. I don't remember it perfectly buuut I don't feel up to searching for it right this moment. Just thought I'd let a fellow PlayStation fan know. :3

Now for something a little more on-topic: What I love more about my PS3 over Xbox is that I've always had a PS2. I never once owned an Xbox, never played it except for when I visited my friend's and got to play like, twice. Don't get me wrong, I do like some of the functions of the Xbox, such as being able to play your own music as the BGM for your games(unlike PS3 which has to quit the game to play music .____.) I just like the games that my PS3 has to offer, with all the familiarities and overall gameplay. I'm more used to the system than Xbox. Oh and you forgot the Wii! Even though no one really cares much about it. But I enjoy my Nintendo consoles. My one favorite thing about my Wii: The ability to play Tales of Symphonia. Sure I could go out and buy a Gamecube for like...30 bucks. But I already have a Wii.<3

I love Xbox Live. Mostly because it hasn't been offline for over a week now.

Other than that... not much. 360 pad is a lot better than the dual shock, I guess. Everything else is in favor of the PS3. 360 is louder, runs hotter, and has lower hardware specs. My 360 pulls double duty as a space heater in the winter. That's not a joke.

I like my XBox 360 Elite because, unlike my friend's regular XBox's and my uncle's PS3, it has never suffered a breakdown. No RRoD, no up-and-just-shut-off, no nadda. And it's black. I like the color black.

The PS3 has been a handy little media unit even when I'm not using it for gaming, and the Bluray gives it an edge there. Plus I just like the ascetics of the XMB instead of the 360's menu. Plus I bought the PS3 in anticipation for FFXIII and it just looks better in glorious 1080p uncompressed video XD

I love my Xbox 360 because I can play Halo and Mass Effect. I love it because of Gamerscore. I love it for Xbox LIVE. You know? I love everything about it. Except for the RROD.

I had both a 360 and PS3. I was happy with both. My PS3 died after 7 years of heavy use (Reasonable I'd say) and I was left to play just my 360. Now I hate my 360.

It tries to sell me stuff on 5 stupidly annoying menus when I log in, not only when I'm in the store. It can't play my Blu-Ray movies. The controller constantly runs out of power and I have to get new batteries or pay extra money just so it can charge. Plus it's kind of annoyingly large. It can't run Steam through it's server structure. It has almost no good exclusive series. It eats game discs. Its store is annoying to navigate. It can't play all my fun PS3 games. I have to pay money to use its online service. Changing controller slots is stupidly difficult. Its store doesn't use actual money it uses "Microsoft Points". It had me pay money for Left For Dead updates that were free on Steam. It doesn't get wireless internet without a connecting device.

My PS3 didn't have those issues. I get a new one in about 3 weeks. The wait is killing me.
