What do you love to hate?

So today I was playing the new Call of Duty with some friends when I was complaining about small things like hit detection, over powered weapons, lag, etc. when my someone stopped me and asked me why I didn't just sell the game, when I suddenly realised that the reason I still play game was because I had some weird masochistic love of hating it. Not sure why that was, possibly because it makes other games I play more enjoyable in comparison, but it was still rather strange that I went into Black Ops 2 knowing that there would be some bullshit that I was hate and complain about.

So Escapists, just out of interest, it doesn't have to be a video game, it can be anything else, what do you "love to hate"?

I adoring hating Kid Rock.

I'm pretty open about the kid of music I listen to, but there is just something about that guy I can't stand. Every single time I hear one of his songs on the radio, it seems to boil down to "look at me and all the money I have, I can do what I want, fuck the world; ha ha ha ha ha!!"

I love to hate cavalry in Mount & Blade: Warband, and Napoleonic Wars.

In fact, I specialise in killing cavalry (pikes, swords, bayonets, whatever it takes).

Unfortunately, a lot of them seem to specialise in killing infantry going by the name of Uzo, too.

My internet sucks so hard so I ofcourse have regular lag spikes.

I swear relieving stress by complaining about lag is the only way I stay partially sane nowadays.

I hate that it's turned people into attention whores, where likes and status updates mean everything.

I also hate how every fucking thing has to be tied to faceboook.

Applying for a job? Has to be done through facebook.
Entering a contest? Can only be done on faceboook.
Logging into a website? Enter your facebook login details.

ugh...

Yeah pretty much this, I miss the age before social networks.
