The question is in the title. What does your money go to? I can understand this may be a very personal question to some people, but answer what you want. And I am talking more about spare money, rather than bills and food. Personally, I try to give some to charity (although I don't give as much as I'd like to) and every few months I buy a game, but most of the time, I'll be honest, my spare money goes to alcohol. And I'm ok with that :D
What about you?

I like to buy sexy clothes for my girl friend. She says I spend too much money on her, I say the happy feeling I get watching her put on her latest sexy dress is more than worth the cost :D

Games, DVDs (more TV shows than movies), subscription to NFL Gamepass, and sometimes junk food like Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I know you said not food, but I'm assuming you meant "food needed to survive". Occasionally new clothes.

I lead a fairly inexpensive lifestyle.

Games/game related stuff, food(as in, junk food and snacks), anime, random crap that only a nerd would buy, gifts.... yeah, sounds about right.

Books and games mostly. Sometimes a movie. Not much more really.

Still a student and while I did give the beer and party thing a go and had some fun it's not really my style.

For now just focusing mainly on my studies, once that gets done I'll start expanding my horizons a bit more.

Likely doing some wine tasting, possibly some vacations to impressive natural wonders and of course paying off my student loans :p.

Food. lol No really, I've spent more on food than anything else in the past few years, mostly cause I'm too poor to invest in anything worth any real money, I need to eat and I like tasty noms.

A Hermit's Cave
These days: rent; bills; & upkeep absorb all but a paltry few pennies that I hoard away.

Then occasionally, I'll get a game/book/DVD. I've managed to master the technique of getting my friends to pay for my drinks and then drinking their drinks as well... so my alcohol expenditure for the last 12 months = approx. £5.00, yes, what a douche!

Pretty much anything that I've been looking forward to whether its a game/film/book, or a few drinks if I'm out with friends. Or if something looks strange enough to warrant a purchase. Case in point...

Uh...

Other people, mostly. People ask me for stuff, I buy it and suddenly I have no money. This happens pretty often.

Sometimes I set about two dollars (or yen equivalent) aside and buy myself some cookies. Then I immediately feel like I'm being greedy, but whatever.

Nights out, festivals, travel and drugs. That's what I've done this summer, anyway. Because I have money. Also, little things like food, clothes [finally], the occasional game,a netbook, eMusic, a book every week or so. And somehow, I'm still doing okay.

Bills and food.

Oh I see......

Well my 2IC and I recently left our jobs that we'd been in for years due, in most part, to being fed up with the place. Since I had a spare key to his old locker I kindly offered to clean it out for him. I may or may not have purchased a sex toy, found a picture of Chewbacca looking his most handsome, whipped up some lovely hearts in photoshop, located an old pair of handcuffs and some tape, snuck in one night and pulled the whole thing off like a freakin' ninja. He knows about all this, still no retribution as of yet.

So..... that. I guess.
But mostly bills and food.

I know, it's a little juvenile. I often do things just for the novelty, like the time I applied for a job as a topless waiter at a male strip club in order to pay my way through university. I was going to do it just so I could put it on my resume and see someone's face when they read it. That venture didn't work out though, and I'm glad, I don't know if I could really handle being in a full-blown naked dude fest all day/night.

I'm a pretty boring guy.
In all seriousness, most of my cash remains in the bank, I usually get by with little more than the necessities. Although I do have an upcoming court case over damages caused by the drunk driver who hit my car the other week.
