What do you think about Bender ( from Futurama) ?

He is one of the most important characters to Futurama and as said before, it wouldn't be the same without him and his dark yet somehow entertaining cruelty.
Bender's an asshole, but he's the likable kind of asshole. I believe Matt Groening wrote him brilliantly.
He's one of the "good guys", but he constantly steals and usually doesn't care about others. That's why he's awesome. Most of his get rich quick schemes usually help the plot, like when he adopted like, 12 orphans, or when he ran a dating match service. So we got a character who is generally liked by the audience, helps carry the plot, and is one of the most funny characters. That's a win.
Speaking of Bender Bending Rodriguez, I've heard people say he reflects a negative stereotype of hispanics. Sure, he does steal, drink, and is usually lazy, but is anyone offended by Bender's antics? I mean, he's a freaking robot, not a race. Just wondering.

They shouldn't even call it Futurama anymore. They should call it the "Bender Show featuring Zoidberg".

He's a stand out role model for us all.

OK, not that I don't like him, but he has a quite limited range of gags. So Bender's own solo show wouldn't work too well... The way the cast of "Futurama" works together, filling all the humour niches, is in my opinion the best thing about the show. I didn't like the episodes where they give 80% of lines to a single character - even when it's Bender.
