Okay to start off, I'm interested in what people think the point of life is. I'm sure this thread has been made a thousand times, but meh.

Lately with me, I've been questioning the point of life constantly. And honestly, I can't think of any reason good enough as to why I'm here, why other people are here. Every reason just ultimatly seems pointless. There are hundreds of theorys out there, but which one to believe? If any.

It's quite difficult for me to put how I feel/think into words, so Escapees, what do you think?

EDIT: I'm hoping to keep the religious discussion to a minimum. I don't want any hate or such things going around.

I think life is what you make of it. You weren't born with a set purpose, And in most cases you are here because your mother and father did something PG-13+

Life is longest thing we experience, It isn't fair, And it certainly isn't easy, but it doesn't mean it can't be fun.

As humans we like to strive towards goals, Be that finding that special someone, Settling down and procreating, A financial goal, or even a physical goal - Set something to strive for, and set the bar high.

Kid, Go out there and make the most of every second. Millions sit and wish, Hundreds will actually go and do something about it.

I believe the point of life is to find a point yourself. Sure, others can help you, and that's really what is happening through this thread, but in the end, one has to define their reason to live for themselves.

As for me, I basically try and make anyone that I can happy, while still not compromising my own happiness. I've been doing this for a couple months now, and I've never been happier. ^_^

I dont think there is a point. I think existance just is something that exists. What point could we have? Will it matter in a 100 years? 1000? A billion? For all we know, 100 earths may have happened similar to us and fallen, either before us, or concurrent in some far off place.

OT: Uh... Like it's been said, there is no point to "life." Hell, I'm here to have fun and enjoy myself. I'm also here for other reasons, but you Earthlings guys wouldn't understand.

and if we are all just a bunch of primates randomly created on a useless hunk of rock flying through space for no real reason just live it up before you fade out of existence.
