A new laptop. My dear old Dell worked like a slave for me for 6 years, doing thins it was never supposed to for me (HD video editing, After Effects, etc). But now it is gone. And I need a new one for work. Sadly, this almost assuredly means Windows 8...but I can learn to adapt to it.

What do I want for Christmas? Well, a brand new Windows PC would be cool to have.

What's a Christmas Brick if you don't mind me asking? Fruitcake?

Not quite. This video will explain:

Well I've had everything bought for me for Christmas; when it comes to Birthdays and Christmas I will buy all the stuff I want and be reimbursed later.

This year my list is:
Nokia Lumia 625
8 pieces of clothing (2 Jeans, shoes, 2 shirts, 2 jackets and a blazer)
Dune (book)
Terraria (PS Vita)
Bravely Default (3DS)
Tearaway (PS Vita)
Batman Origins (PC)
Assassin's Creed IV (PC)
PS Vita Memory Card
The total is about £450, and then my mum always buys a few surprises.

In case you didn't realise, Christmas is a massive deal in my house.
Jesus, kid! The biggest gift I ever got as a kid was a gameboy color with a game or two! And I had to share it with two sisters! You're spoiled =s
The funny thing is that I'm not a kid, I'm 20 years old.

I should say that this year is kind of an exception, since my mum got a promotion and did a lot more work so we could have one last "Mega Christmas". Usually I'd get about £300 of stuff (£100 from my mum and step-dad, another £100 from my dad and £100 from other relatives).

Hmm, so a Christmas Brick is an actual brick then, which is still slightly better than getting a fruitcake in my opinion.

OT: These days when people ask what I want for Christmas, I tell them I want a Glidecam with a DSLR. An ACME paper punch would also be nice, but then again an Artograph light box would be nice as well. Sometimes they ask what I'm talking about, most of the time they don't. But they stop asking after that, and that's what happens when people ask me to be honest.

Fine, I could really use some socks.

Fallout 4 would be nice. Oh wait, do you mean things that actually exist? (Yes, hoax guy, you have pissed me off)

Let's see:

Replica of Freddy Kruger's glove
A copy of Romeo and Juliet
Some good headphones (being using a £25 set of sennheiser's for a while now.)
A brass Zippo
A decent pair of CAT boots, preferably black
Money. Lots of it. I would likely buy most of this stuff myself if I had some right now.

A compass, for navigation purposes.

See, I've recently moved house, and I've no idea where things are. So when there was a college trip to somewhere which my mum said was about ten minutes away, I of course looked it up on google maps so I could go home straight after. Noted the roads to go down, directions, all that. I walk out of the place onto the first road I needed to go down, and I've no idea which direction to walk in. Both ways along the damn road look identical. Took a bloody long damn time to get home, and if I'd had a gorramn compass I would have been fine.

A Galaxy S
I've had the same flip phone since I was 14... for the love of all that is great, I just want that and that alone.

And a 2DS! Cause 3D is NOOOOOOOOOOPE. I just really want to play FE: Awakening, SMT4, and eventually Persona Q.
Cause next gen consoles are garbage, should not exist, or should never even be considered holiday gifts are not for me.

I will get a next-gen console in a few months, but I'm not sure which between PS4 and Wii U. For either one, I'll get an HDTV on a post-Christmas sale.

It would be a nice, decision-making Christmas if Sony or Nintendo really announced a big action-adventure game to put some meat on one of their thin lineups for next year.

I already got my Xmas gift ..........because I paid for it mostly.
Surface Pro 2, some say it's overly expensive, well you're provably wrong......from an artists perspective.
Wacom Cintiq 13HD is just as expensive except that requires a PC to work as it's basically a second screen that's a pen tablet as well, SP2 very similar but portable.
It's awesome being able to do art somewhere else, even if it's the next room with the family or in a friends house. This is the kind of 'laptop' I've dreampt of since ..I dunno, college in 2004, it's freaking amazing.
Sure it's a bit early but I think I started a bit of a domino effect, I grabbed my friends and cousin a game each and decided to give it to them early.

I blame it on this past month being hideously depressing, but screw depression, xmas, am I right or what guys?

Reading through everybody's Christmas list makes me feel poor. Do people get that much stuff for Christmas?
Not everyone. I'm pretty sure I won't be getting anything. Or maybe I was just naughty this year ;P

BUT if I could ask for something, I would want one or more of the following:
- an arcade stick
- a new microphone
- a new portable harddrive
- Various anime dvds.
- tablet/laptop/any portable wifi enabled device of my own.

AND the most important and obligatory:

-a job.

I have multiple lists on Amazon made up of things that I want...There are things that I would rather have though such as higher wages at my job if not a better paying, better job anyway. The ability to live on my own, with enough left over to cover utilities, food, my car, my phone, and enough left over to keep me gaming would be peachy.

...

So, a winning lottery ticket would be ideal I guess. That can set me up for life and possibly even chase away my neurotic sense that I'm not quite outrunning an ever deepening pit.

I love my Vita. It's awesome; I have P4G, Final Fantasy 1-6, Breath of Fire 3, and a bunch of apps to fuck around on.

And yet only one of them are Vita exclusive. More games need to be ported to the Vita.

[sup]like every PS2 game[/sup]

I suppose Okami HD for the Vita. My God, do I love Okami.

All I really want for Christmas is a back up hard drive.

Yup.

That's it.

Oh, and I guess Paint Tool SAI 2 coming out isn't such a bad deal either (something you get for free if you have the license for Paint Tool SAI 1)

Other then that? My parents are getting me a new laptop (hence the back up hard drive.)

And I guess if I have extra money I can get a Wii U finally.

Decent Princess Peach merchandise, it's so hard to find...

I need a laptop so university goes swimmingly.

However I'm going to go on a crusade for clothes because I'm in dire need of a wardrobe reshuffle, which I also want to do, so yay!

1st world problems.

GO for it. I worked at a Future Shop in between jobs in my field a couple years ago and bought a Keurig and a filter to go with it so I didn't have to use the cups. One of the best purchases I've ever made. I buy regular coffee and make it a cup at a time. A can of coffee can last me months as I only need a couple tablespoons per cup. It's saved me so much money. Especially since I bought it with my discount.

I do have a few non-stick pots and pans and love them, but every year or two they need replacing. My aunt got me a set a few years ago of really expensive stuff, but even only using plastic and wood utensils on them, the coating has worn off.
Other people have warned me that they need occassional replacing, and thats the only reason I haven't invested in one already. But I do die a little every time I walk past the display.

A gave a Keurig as a gift a couple of Christmases ago, and I'm glad it seems to go over well with coffee drinkers. Never tried it because I'm more of a tea person. And now that I think about it, I would rather have a nice tea pot.
