What do you want Half-Life 3 to be?

I just dont care anymore. Its been 9 years and I've completely lost interest. The episodes were bland and not that exighting. Its like reading a book and stop reading half way through and then expect to continue reading nearly a decade later. Just not going to happen.

Considering they got tons of money and even publish their own games I would think they would get a blank check when making HL3 and publish it when its ready, dont you think?

Anything that is described as 'realistic' I hope it doesn't go anywhere near. Seriously, enough of this shit. Though things like destructible scenery and so on there is nothing wrong with.

It will probably have a new weapon to face that new thing with psychic powers, and I'm hoping that weapon is as fun to use as the gravity gun. If they come up with something more interesting I'll be even happier.

Done. I want the game to be done. I want it to be something that I can own, put in my console, sit down and play so I can finish the story. I don't care if the gameplay is the exact same as it was for the expansions, or even if it goes back to the original Half-Life gameplay. I just want it to be done. Has anyone else said that yet?

I would like it to be a thing that exists. Is that really too much to ask at this point?

Then take heart because it has only been 6 years since the last Half Life installment. This is not much longer than how much we had to wait for HL2 after HL1 and back then Valve didn't have Steam, L4D, Portal, TF2 filling up the schedule. See it is not all that bad.

And TF2's development has taken 9 years and I don't have to remind you how that turned out.

Its got to the point where i kinda dont care. Id really like it to come out but its been so long. I was between 12-14 when i played Half-Life 1 and to think im in my late 20's and im still waiting for the story to finish.

IF it does see the light of day i know it will prob be a good solid game. But after so long......

You know, when I was playing Half-Life 2, I wanted to rated 10/10 back then.
Cool story, amazing graphics, believable NPCs, awesome gun fights.....but then I saw the ending.....f*ck!
I rated 8/10.

I hope Half-Life 3 don't have a "f*ck you ending" like the seconf game...
