I personally like the idea of an Ancient Greek-style funeral pyre burning on a beach at dusk while my comrades-at-arms stand by solemnly.

If I had the money and connections, I think it would be a trip to put my corpse inside of a space-worthy vessel, fire it off the Earth and detonate said vessel in the upper atmosphere. I've always wanted to see the world, and what better way than by spreading my vaporized self to all known regions of it?
