What does it mean?

When we post, we see something under our names, the most famous things seem to be "infamous scribbler" or "Gone Gonzo" I recently found out mine was "Muckracker" But can you change them? How do you get them?

Sorry if its obvious, I never really payed much attention to when I signed up

I think it depends on the amount of posts you've done, or how long you've been here.

no, you get them for your post count, I have Gonzo =D

you can't change it though, or else I would have "Bassist boy"

They change according to how many posts you make.... i think. I'm pretty certain that's what it is unless I've been incredibly dense.

They change based on your post count. Once you've hit 1000, you've achieved 'Gonzo', and that, so far, is the highest 'title' one can receive without being a staff member, contributor, or mod.

And, also, you cannot change it manually to whatever you wish.
It is what it is.

1000-4999 = Gonzo
5000-7999 = On the Record
8000-9999 = Master Archivist
10000-14999 = Wordsmith Extrordinare
14999+ = Noble Laureate

At least according to a post I think New Classsic made about a month ago. Not sure if I'm getting it exactly right.

Well I stand corrected.
I never went above 'gonzo' before I was Mod-i-fied, so I didn't experience that joy.
