David means "beloved" in Hebrew. I'm assuming thats the first time it was used. And since then its become a name that people use regardless of the Hebrew origins for naming people.

Unless, my family is part of a group of Hebrews who left their land and migrated to Sweden for some reason

Brien

Celtic suggesting Hill or Dominance.

Funny, I like RTS and constantly plot world domination and tend to be a charismatic leader. Famous celtic Brien: Brian Boru, Irish Leader/King.

JOSHUA

Gender: Masculine

Usage: English, Biblical

Pronounced: JAH-shə-wə (English), JAW-shwə (English) [key]
From the Hebrew name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ (Yehoshu'a) meaning "YAHWEH is salvation". Joshua was one of the twelve spies sent into Canaan by Moses in the Old Testament. After Moses died Joshua succeeded him as leader of the Israelites. As an English name, Joshua has been in use since the Protestant Reformation.

The name Jesus comes from a Greek translation of the Aramaic short form יֵשׁוּעַ (Yeshu'a), which was the real name of Jesus.

Liam, which apparently is German for strong guardian and Irish for William.

I'm not sure which is true, I'll go with the Irish one though.

If you're not American, please move there, join their military, and train as a Green Beret. Upon finishing training a man named "David" will greet you, and all shall become clear...
