I didn't make it with any particular meaning in mind. I just hate using generic fillers and diversifiers to make my names like xXx and 123 4141 ...etc I never have those in my usernames, so I always try to make my usernames using something that most people don't seem to use, that I think sound at lease somewhat cool. There are a million reasons why I could've included Delta in my usernames other than my reason, which was just because I thought the word was cool sounding. When I first used it, back when I was making a character in LaTale, I wasn't even familiar with the old greej alphabets or anything like that and if people asked me about it, I would respond with a confused look. As for the Edge part, I really dunno. I just knew that Delta would be taken, and wanted to add something on that sounded cool, and when i think of edge, I think of something like a razor edge, so I thought, hm, these might work well together.

Other past usernames that i've used include, but are not limited to: Zephel, ZioBolt, SwordDuster, ThetaFire, DeltaBolt, OkamiDeity(Had the game Okami on my mind at the time), TrinityEdge, InfernoOfIndigo,TrinityRazor, and the first username that I came up with myself, which was also my first email that I made without my parents back when I was 10 is MatoOrca(Don't ask me where I got the Mato part from, because I have no idea, and I don't think it's even a word, and I was thinking about .hack// at the time because I always liked .hack// even enough to watch those horrible rehashes of the same story with the same characters, just chibi-fied or genderswapped (i.e., .hack//Quantum

Well, it started out as "I Am Just A Glitch", after the Sky Eats Airplane song "She Is Just A Glitch". But, that got a little obnoxious to type out, plus I hate having my username be one long word and that whole thing often goes over character limits with the underscores, so I just shortened it.
It mean's absolutely nothing.
I started using it when I was around 11 or 12 when I first started using the internet properly, like forums and such... it just stuck around I guess. Now I just keep using it for everything, although not so much nowadays.

My other username i use on mmo's is Glurion and that was random generated from the Final Fantasy XI random name generator and it's pretty much stuck.

The language and the references to popular culture are enhanced and enriched by the company, essentially improving on the original. Among Finnish celebrities, it is considered a great honor to have a twist on your name used for a Disney celebrity.
Hell, the Finnish equivalent to SWAT has a nickname [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karhu_Team] taken from the Disney comics. And the various artists and writers are widely recognized and often hold seminars and fan meetings right here. Finnish children know all sorts of fancy words they learned from reading the comics, thanks to the enriching of the language I mentioned earlier. It is not unusual to hear little children talking like fancy royalty on occasion. Though I could still swear that kids these days... Well, you know. Fuck this and shit that, they're so rude nowadays. Anyways...
When I joined the Escapist, my usual username, Storm, was taken, so I figured I might as well renew myself a little. I decided to start using a username that would immediately reveal me as a Finn to others of my kind, and perhaps hold a bit of mystique to those of you not fluent in Finnish. I've been using it far and wide now, so feel free to catch me on PSN or whatever it's called, I'm using the same username there as well. And if you catch someone with this username somewhere, let's say less respectable, it could be anyone. (-_-

I chose mine because I've always had a passion for swords and I was learning how to sword fight officially for the first time. Theswordsman was taken so I figured, "even if you don't emphasize the "a" it still sounds the same". I fell in love with it and have been using it for anything and everything I sign up for. I had originally considered using my last name in the form of something (Gore), but never got around to thinking of anything that I liked better than theswordsmn.
