I was playing a ton of FF6 at the time and really loved Ultros so I took his weird self given nickname for myself.

Well, apparently:
Wiki said:
In mathematics, a monotonic function (or monotone function) is a function that preserves the given order. This concept first arose in calculus, and was later generalized to the more abstract setting of order theory.

---

A monotone function is also called isotone, or order-preserving. The dual notion is often called antitone, anti-monotone, or order-reversing. Hence, an antitone function f satisfies the property
x /= f(y),
for all x and y in its domain. It is easy to see that the composite of two monotone mappings is also monotone.

I hate maths, so that's definitely not it.

a prefix meaning "against," "opposite of," "antiparticle of," used in the formation of compound words ( anticline );  used freely in combination with elements of any origin ( antibody; antifreeze; antiknock; antilepton ).
So combining the two, I make you feel tired, and I ruin music.

Really, I just ran a random word generator. It was a choice between this and Luminous, which was my preference until I saw it was unavailable on Xbox Live.

Nothing. It has no meaning.

You know, you can change your username, if you haven't already.
Go to "Update Account Information" in your profile.

But you can only change it once.

Once you have used up your one and only change, you're stuck with whatever username you've changed it too.
So choose carefully!
Nah I kind of like it, and I wouldn't know what to change it to anyway..

Well mine is pretty simple.

StormShaun. All there is to say is that I like storms and lightning. Then add my name on the end and there you go.

I gotta love it though.

It's the same as my gamertag on Xbox LIVE.

Aero: Shows my love for steampunk.

Steam: Further shows my love for steampunk.

1908: Aerosteam was already taken. I can't remember why I chose this set of numbers. But then I found out 1908 is the year the word 'douchebag' was first uttered as an insult. I found that out after I made my gamertag.

Nothing. I was thinking of a name for my first WoW character, and eventually I just threw together the first sounds that came to mind. Thus, Jedoro.

Captcha: labour of love

...sure, let's call it that.

Mine's got to be one of the contenders for worst username ever. My defence? I was really really tired...

Since my first name's Holly I get called all kinds of wildly unimaginative things: Hollywood, Hollyberry, Hollyhead road, Hollybush, The Holly and the Ivy... I just picked one at random.

What I realised afterwards is that I should have made my name 'Pungi Topo' - it's the Italian name for the Holly tree which literally means 'stabs mice'

First used for my Xbox Live tag, and now it's my nom de plume all around the Internet. Derived from an in-joke with my friends. We were playing 4-way split screen on CoD4. One of my friends was being absolutely slaughtered by the rest of us, so he declared an impromptu jihad on the watermelons scattered about the level, leading to the phrase 'melon hunter' amongst us. When I had to pick a fairly unique name for Xbox Live, I just ran with it, and I've used it ever since.

Reference to a book series I enjoy. Heronblade is a term for a master swordsman, one capable of incredible feats of dexterity.

it is my nick name, I got it in High School. I have it because a kid was trying to kick my ass and did a fairly good job until i donged his punch and his fist hit a monitor. Then i just started laughing, my opponent was now crying and bleeding profusely and apparently i look sadistic and well, dangerous. My name is Dane so dangerous turns to DANEgerous with DANE being yelled on occasion which I always found awkward but not annoying and that made people do it more.

Hahahaha! Day = Made. Thanks!

OT: It was the name of a demon I came up with for a book I'm writing. He's now called Zander and no longer a demon, but I still like this name.

I don't really know, It sounded cool so i just went with it. I wasn't really sure where it came from until about a month ago when i realised it's a slight variation on a jamiroquai song.

Honestly, I've been using Starke or StarkRealm for probably about fifteen years now. I have very little recollection where I got it originally, though I kinda remember using it for a character name in Fallout...

My username is my online handle. I came up with it whenever I was starting out in WoW and it just grew on me.

It's what I came up with when trying to imagine what a Canadian Transformer would be like (or rather, one that landed in Canada, since they're all from from Cybertron).

You think you got the 'Holly' name jokes bad, I get it a lot too... >_>
